[Adair Askara]

Some distance away from the center of Kenash lies a small, round building made of fine white stone that looks like it could be very belong to the estate of some rich and well mannered lady or gentleman. The door is made of dark wood, and above the door is a sign with the words „Askara Ink“, surrounded by colourful geometric patterns, the first hint that maybe there is more to the building that its exterior suggests. The walls are pure white, and the windows are large and clean. On the roof are several skylights so that the inside of the building is perfectly illuminated from every angle. The floor is made of fine polished wood and covered with a soft red and black carpet. Between the windows are elaborate, expensive murals that depict scenes from Kenash. The curtains that hang left and right of the windows are floor length and made of heavy red velvet. Opposite the door two couches can be found. They are made of dark wood and look quite comfortable, but the reclineable backs suggest that they haven’t been put there for people to lie down and relax a little. Next to each couch are a chair and a table that is filled with a variety of tools from inks over needles to clothes and bottles with cleaning solutions. The building isn’t the hideaway of some rich person nor a place for people to relax for a bell or two. It is a tattoo parlor, and the wall behind the two couches is covered with the owner’s drawings that may or not be used for tattoos at one point. That owner, one Adair Askara, a man of somewhat questionable reputation that follows the traditions of his family with all his heart can usually be found sitting in a chair in a corner, waiting for a customer to arrive. His slave and assistant Chao is often with him. Of course the building doesn’t only consist of one room. In the back wall are two doors. One leads to a storage room, the other one to Adair’s office. During his travels he was captured by a group of slavers and eventually sold to the Askara family. There he caught the attention of one Adair Askara who first took the exotic looking slave into his bed and then, after discovering that he had a certain artistic talent, decided to use him to help him run his business. Chao used to hate being a slave, but he's accepted his fate now and even enjoys some aspects of it.
