She was playing at his weakness. He shook his head and laughed. "Tell me where I can find an innocent girl, my dear. Then maybe I wont play games" he said with a sly smile. When he finally learned her name and had carried her to a more private spot, atleast more private then where they were before. He turned and pushed her up against the wall, still holding her up. He felt every movement she was making, every squeeze and every tease as she tried to toy with him. She pressed her chest against him and got close to his face, Aider took the bate and placed a long, slow kiss on her neck. He chuckled about her horse comment. "Theres plenty to do. You just need to know where to look." he said. "I would love to play with you, Yvaine. But this is not the place to.... talk" he said, he looked her in the eyes. "We should get you some clothes, maybe or get you somewhere more private. Which ever you prefer" he said. His hands rubbed her thighs, as he gently pressed his chest against hers. It wasn't fair, her baring what she had and him to be fully dressed. He whispered sweetly into her ear. "Now, my pretty little kitty. If you would come with me back to my place. Then we may play whatever game you like". He kissed her cheek and smiled. "The names Aider, by the way" he said before pulling back and setting her on the ground. He took a few steps back and crossed his arms.

Day 7, Season of Fall, 513 AV

Yvaine nearly purred at the singular attention to her neck. She had quite a bit to learn in terms of men… mostly she had just watched women try and seduce her father—they never even knew they were the bait. Being pressed between Aider and the building however caused goosebumps to appear across her skin. She would have to certainly try this again.

”My dear I can assure you… being innocent is the easy part. But most certainly not in my nature.” Yvaine stated simply, but the wicked grin on her face told otherwise. ”But there is so very little to do in a city. And trying to find it is the annoying part. Though I do rather love exploring the city.” Yvaine muttered as an afterthought. The city had its intrigue, perhaps Aider was right. Maybe she would just have to look harder. Which probably meant more time as a human, and the thought caused her nose to wrinkle slightly.

"Now, my pretty little kitty. If you would come with me back to my place. Then we may play whatever game you like"

”Well aren’t you just the charmer? Bet you say that to all the girls don’t you?” Yvaine raised her left brow again as Aider finally set her down and set some space between them. He left the choice up to her, and she knew this was rather a difficult choice to make. She generally didn’t trust anyone—especially the beautiful men. But she was fairly harder to take advantage of than most women too. And he knew it.

Crossing her arms over her chest, she tapped her bottom lip with her forefinger as she moved away from the wall and him. ”Clothing is such a human thing.” She snorted delicately. Glancing over her shoulder at Aider, she grinned before shrugging lightly. ”Lead on then Aider, we can figure out games later.” With a wink, she shifted again, falling forward onto her paws and giving her herself a full body shake to smooth out her fur. Trying to make it through the city naked just wasn’t an option. She was going to be tired by the end of the night with all the shifting she was pulling today.

She had him in an awkward position. She kept fighting with his dominance which threw him for a loop. His emotions mixed, wondering if he actually enjoyed the fact that she was teasing him so, so easily. She made a cute face, wrinkling up her nose. Aider didn't know what it was for, but her next sentence made it feel like it wasn't because of him. He watched her little display of cuteness and innocence, then she changed. He let out a long sigh as he looked up towards the sky. "Gods forgive me" he mumbled under his breath, as he turned to walk back towards the gates. How the actual petch was he going to explain the giant cat following him. He shook his head and rubbed his temples. He walked at a slow pace contemplating what he was going to say, but then again he had no real proof that she wouldn't just dart away to bother some other person. He wondered if that would bother him. The idea of this cute girl darting off to bother someone else, he knew nothing about her other then she could freely change forms. But she still had his interest locked in one place.

Day 7, Season of Fall, 513 AV

Yvaine settled into a sitting position while she waited for Aider to gather himself up. She wondered if her shifting maybe made him uncomfortable, but at this point there was little she could do about that. For a moment, the thought crossed her mind that he very well might change his. But he just muttered something about the gods under his breath and started back towards the gates.

Cocking her head to the side for a moment, she simply watched his back. He seemed like a decent guy. Very easy going if he took her shifting so well. She knew well enough that even when people knew about Kelvics—seeing them shift was another matter. Hoping up, she trotted easily to his side and pressed herself up against the side of his leg, as close as she could get. Sneaking into the gates would be far too difficult, nothing like sneaking out. Nudging her head against the back of his thigh, she tried to get Aider to move faster.

If her plan was going to work, she needed him to act normal. Like having her by his side was just a common occurrence. Granted the illusion would work better if she had some sort of rope or collar, but this would have to do for the time being. She held her head high, ears twitching from side to side at the sounds of the gate. Yvaine wasn’t sure if it was common of Nyka to see lots of Kelvic, seeing as the city itself was not far from Ravok, but half the ploy was acting.

”Hey!” A guard stepped in front of them. Instantly Yvaine sat at Aider’s feet, as if she were trained like a pet. The guard looked the both of them over warily for a moment before he looked up at Aider and pointed downwards at Yvaine. ”Make sure you keep control of your pet inside the city. And make sure you keep it leashed from now on…” The guard frowned a little at the two of them, before returning to his position at the gate.

Yvaine blinked, before tilting her head to look up at Aider… hopefully he picked up on the idea to give her a command… any kind of command.

She acted like she was his pet, staying close to him and occasionally brushing against his leg. It didn't take long for him to catch on, before the guard shouted out at them. "Aye sir. Sorry, she had a leash, but it broke" he said in a voice the common man would think was telling the truth. He pointed inwards of the gate and said "Come on lets get you home". He walked past the monk, he glanced back when they where far enough from the gate. "Simple, simple fool" he mumbled, he looked down at her. "Nice one" he said with a smile. She was smart, clever and beautiful. Different things he admired all wrapped up into one package. They finally made it to his room and he slid of his jacket, he neatly placed it on the back of his chair and laid down on his bed. "Well then" he said looking up at the roof. He expected her to change back, possibly take advantage of him being in such a relaxed position. His eyes glanced over to her. "So you moved here? You have the power to change forms and you're beautiful... I don't understand why a girl like you, would be here." he said, waving his hand in the air.

Day 7, Season of Fall, 513 AV

"Come on lets get you home".

Humans were always the easiest to fool some days. At Aider’s “command” Yvaine leapt back to her feet and twisted her way into the crowd at his side. Aider seemed fairly impressed by her actions too. If Yvaine could have, she would have been grinning ear to ear. She loved it when a plan worked out… even a simple one. As they made their way through the streets, Yvaine kept a map in her head. The sights, the smells, even some of the people.

She was actually a little surprised they made it to his room at all without being questioned, but some of the most obvious things often got missed in the shuffle. And that worked out just fine by her. As Aider settled himself down on his bed, Yvaine took in the scent of the room. It smelled like him that was for sure. If she had to, she could make her way back to this place if need be. It never hurt to have places to hide in a city this large.

Shifting back into her human form, she stayed crouched on the floor for a moment before taking a deep breath. The shifting was starting to take a toll, she could feel it her muscles. Not sore… just tired. Moving over to his bed, she ignored the blantant invitation to take advantage of him. That was too easy. Instead she perched herself on the edge of his bed. Her hair fell across her back as she looked over her shoulder at him.

”I am Kelvic. Gifted with two forms… one I do enjoy taking advantage of.” She left out the bit about preferring her cat form. She wondered if he could even understand that entirely. ”I came here for my mother. Tracking her down hasn’t been easy. But I’m getting there.” Yvaine shrugged slightly before grinning at Aider.

”Do you travel then Aider? Nyka seems like a place to settle down… not a place for someone of your… standards.” He was well groomed, and obviously decent with women. It wouldn’t surprise her if he was just a traveler like her.

Aider chuckled and shifted his weight on the bed. He looked at her, slightly propping himself up. "Well to be honest. No... I've lived her for all my life. Sad isn't it, a man like myself stuck in the same place" he said as he looked at the door, slightly drifting into his thoughts. "I had a chance... Or I like to think I did. Awhile ago, met this beautiful girl out in the woods. I might have been able to go with her. You know if I asked, or maybe tried my case." he sighed. He ran a hand down his face and then looked back at her. "So you're looking for your mother... Anything I can do to help?" he asked. "You could stay here. If you need a place to crash for a night or two" he said with a shrug. He had finally set up fully, seeing that she no longer wanted to play a game. He couldn't help but think back to meeting the girl. It played at his mind, pulling his focus from the things currently at hand. "I met a lady who could do the same... Change that is, she turned into a snake. Said she was a Dhani" he said, now remembering his encounter that happened earlier this season. He laughed slightly, now that was an interesting night. He turned his attention back towards her and smiled.

Day 7, Season of Fall, 513 AV

Yvaine wasn’t sure if she would have called him “sad” per say. Lots of people were stuck in places they didn’t want to be. Even if he was miserable, he was still taking care of himself… and he was more than playful enough too. But his scent seemed to drift a little as he spoke of this beautiful woman. Yvaine didn’t understand it really. If he wanted to go why didn’t he just go? Of course… maybe the woman didn’t want him to go with—he didn’t actually say. Or rather asked.

”Unless you know where Evangeline Hardgroove happens to reside, I don’t think you could do much to help unfortunately. But I do appreciate the offer,” Shifting slightly, Yvaine pressed her knees into his bed, and used her hands to hold up her upper body. Curling her spine a little, Yvaine tilted her face in front of Aider’s, merely inches away.

”Snakes huh? I’ve never met a Dhani, but I usually don’t hunt out snakes either.” Yvaine grinned softly. ”So you enjoy women… that much is obvious.” Yvaine smirked slightly and looked away from Aider. By the sounds of it, Aider entertained women quite often. Twitching her nose slightly, Yvaine stared down at the bed. For a moment, a thought crossed her mind—perhaps Aider had a reason for so many women, but it was overly rude and Yvaine wasn’t ready to ruin her welcome just yet.

”Since I’m such a troublemaker, I may have to borrow your room from time to time. I could think of worse company that a handsome man offering me up space in his bed.” Yvaine glanced up at him lightly and shot him a sly grin. ”If you don’t mind me barging in at any hour that is.” Yvaine was teasing… mostly anyways. She highly doubted she would bother the poor man in the middle of the night… just yet.

Aider snapped back into reality as her face was close to his. "I cant say I do.. Sorry"he said with a slight shrug. "Dhani are interesting I guess. I mean... I've only met one" he said. Her naked body tempted him, but he resisted, slightly shifting his body weight till he was even closer to her. He smiled, as she talked about barging into his room late at night. Once again he shrugged. "Cant say I'd mind a cutie like you sneaking into my room at all hours of the night. Granted, I'll let you know. I sleep naked" he said, "Not that being naked seems to bother you any" he added with a wink. He then quickly moved, warping his arms around her, he twisted with his body and caused her to fall onto the bed now looking up at him. He smiled sitting straight up, and said "You're not the only one who likes to play games". He sat back, giving her the options to sit up or not. He looked back towards the door, wondering if anyone would come up to see why he had a giant cat with him. Now to see a naked woman on his bed.

Day 7, Season of Fall, 513 AV

The grin across her face simply widen as Aider informed her that he slept naked. And he had no shame in letting her know about it either. ”I don’t sneak, I stalk.” Yvaine sniffed delicately despite the fact she wasn’t offended by the statement at all. Perhaps she did sneak… just a little. But for a cat her size it wasn’t dignified to call it sneaking. She wasn’t a cub anymore. ”You humans and your issues with being naked.” She scolded lightly with a roll of her eyes. Aider didn’t seem too bothered by it however.

His arms slipped around her and she found herself flipped underneath him. Really she knew she should have seen it coming, but this game they were playing almost seemed like it was growing closer and closer to something far more serious. But he didn’t push the fact he was above her. Rather he backed off and smiled down at her, trying to tempt her with the fact he was one for games himself. ”So Aider if you enjoy games so much just what exactly do you play?”

He seemed distracted actually. His eyes no longer looking at her, but the door. Sitting up on her elbows, she tilted her head back and tried to spot the door herself. Her sensitive hearing didn’t pick up on much sound besides their breathing and the sounds of the city outside, but human ears didn’t have the same effect either. Twitching her nose, she looked up back up at him. ”Expecting someone?” It wouldn’t have entirely surprised her actually. He seemed like the kind of person that would have friends just hiding out everywhere.

”So distracted for one willing to play games.” She teased, keeping herself propped up with one arm, and she let her right hand reach up pressed against the side of his neck. Her fingers traced small circles against his skin as she managed to smile up at him. Rather innocently considering their positions actually.
