Character Concept
Kalder strives for the approval of his father and the true acceptance into his bloodline. He has a vision of leading a horde of Drykas into battle and out of the sea of grass into a higher higher role in Mizahar. Kalder is motivated to become a leader like his father which is his key motivation to survive and thrive.
Character History
Kalder is a member of the diamond clan. He is unsure of his abilities as a warrior as he was neglected by his father Hrunthar who resented him for the death of Kalder's brother Morwen. He has some training with sword and spear but is behind most of the other warriors in other areas. At age 18 Kalder bonded with a black stallion named Tasatir. After the death of Morwen, Kalder has become next in line to receive his fathers sword and armor. Kalder often doubts himself because of the constant reminder of the death of Morwen. Morwen was killed at age 10 by a pack of wolves. He died searching for Kalder 6 at the time who had stolen a bow in hopes of getting approval from his father. 2 years later with the death of his mother the only person who really comforted Kalder he became lost and detached from the rest of his clan. 8 years later once he bonded with Tasatir and received his wind marks Kalder became a bit more confident in himself with reinforcement from other hunters.
