Appearance

Human

Krähe (Kree-uh) is by no means an intimidating man. His stature is far from that of the mighty Myrian or the barrel-chested Isur; standing at 5'1" and carrying a mere 107 pounds. Krähe is the living definition of a "light-weight". With thin, nimble arms and narrow feet, this avian Kelvic can manipulate his body in ways one could only imagine. His fingers are thin and precise, yet his gripping power is like that of an eagle. His legs are long and powerful as they jettison him up walls and cliff-faces or aid in a quick escape. His arms, not needing to lift much weight, can travel him across dangerous ledges and reach far into places deemed "unreachable". The tips of his fingers can memorize every split, every grain of wood across the surface of an arrow, and are worn hard form the countless hours of archery. Even his hair, cut short on a constant basis, contributes to his aerodynamic figure.

His body holds mementos of past battles, between beast and being alike, in the form of deep scars on his lower arms and legs. Each is a tale of its own, whether it be a brave fight for honor and dignity, or the cause of a cowardly escape. Though he lacks the muscle to swing large swords and maces, his hands move quickly and his arrows are precise. After all, you don't have to rely on other people if you never miss.

Animal

Krähe is not often seen in his animal form, as he typically uses it for quick escapes or to scout out an area for hostiles. His Kelvic form takes on the appearance of a charcoal-colored Crow, his entire body as dark as night. Only his beak, which is tipped with an orangish-gold, sets him apart from the innumerable flocks of identical birds. By sacrificing the ability to speak or fight effectively, Krähe uses this form to ensure that his enemy has an even harder time hitting such a small creature. He can dash to and fro with a powerful set of wings attached to a near weightless body

Character Concept

History
Krähe was born and raised in the Bronze woods of Syliras, raised by a small group of Kelvics similar to himself. And this is all that he will tell to those who ask. Is there more to the story? Maybe.

Personality

Krähe is, initially, a rather submissive character in many conversations and events. He prefers to stand by and watch rather than directly interact. That is, until his curiosity reels him in. He's not the first to initiate a meeting, and he can be a bit of a closed book to strangers. It would be incorrect, however, to label him as a misanthrope. Krähe thinks of himself as an optimist, and is willing to see the good in even the worst of people. Once's he's relaxed and familiar with the people around him he can be energetic and a bit spastic. But it's his animal instinct that leads him to enter into conversations and the like with some level of trepidation. Before he can begin to trust a stranger he must be able to figure out some level of their character, regardless of whether that character labels them as "good" or "bad". He's not an easy person to fool, either. He's smarter than he lets on, on top of being rather keen to what a person says and how they say it. Though his lack of textbook knowledge can make him seem a bit dense.

In combat, Krähe never aims to mortally wound. In fact, most fights he never swings a single punch. With his small frame and nimble nature Krähe prefers to dodge rather than take the offensive. He will continue to evade attacks with no intent on closing in for his own blades to do damage, instead waiting until his opponent is too drained of energy to fight or is in an exhausted enough state for him to get a few quick swipes in. At a distance, he likes to heckle his foes by aiming arrows at their feet with the intent in either tripping them up or right-out crippling their legs. Krähe prefers for his foes to have learned a lesson from the fight, or be discouraged from initiating one against him in the future. But against his prey in the wild, he is a beast. His arrows find their mark in a creature's head or heart to induce a quick death.

But even with all of his swiftness, Krähe cannot take more than a few hits, and his endurance is such that he is unable to recover well from any of them. In the dark, he is reliant on his other senses. And this can ultimately be his downfall as his sight is his most precious ability. And there is little you can do to dodge a well-wielded sword in the hands of a pro. Parrying such an attack would drain a substantial amount of the Kelvic's stamina. If at all possible, Krähe would prefer to stealth past any danger rather than engage it.

Morals

Krähe has no qualms about taking from others if it means his own survival, but he looks down on those that would steal from people less fortunate then them. He ultimately tries to do good, but doesn't really go out of his way to do so. He prefers to not tamper with the world around him. This includes taking the lives of others. He does not believe it is his right to choose whether someone should live or die. But he is not hesitant in taking down feral animals, as they are a gift from nature.

*- Durability represents the current condition of the armor or clothing in question. The Higher the number, the more hits it can absorb. A light swipe does 1-2 damage. A stab can do 2-5, and a mighty swing can do a whopping 6-10. All of this is depended on the weapon and armor. The more and more a piece of armor degrades, the less likely the armor will block

In terms of weaponry, each attack will degrade the weapon. Swipes degrade it by 1. Stabs 2, and might swings 3. That, and parries degrade the weapon the same way, and are treated as attacks.

This is just something I decided to do to give me reasons to actually spend my Mizahs, and make it worth my time to regularly go into town to get repairs and such. More storytelling opportunities if you ask me
