Grading? Liaisons?

Just some general questions about the site that I can't find the answers to because the 'search' function yields too many answers.

1) what is thread grading?

2) what are liaisons?

1) You turn in a completed thread from an IC area to a grading thread so that an ST or PC Grader can reward you with skill points and/or lore regarding what you did in your thread

2) Liasons are special moderators in the CS forum who review and approve/intervene on CS's
