Sex:Female Race:Ethaefal of Syna Mortal Seeming: Inarta Dek Birthday & Age: 54th of Fall, 513 A.V. Languages: (Fluent) Common, (Basic) Nari Physical Appearance Short for her race, a mere 5 foot 6 inches in height, Ruphy's long hair reaches down to her hips, the gentle waves and faint curls at the tips framing her body well as they tumble over her shoulders, across her chest, and down her back. Contrasting with her hair and rosy golden skin, Ruphy's double lidded eyes are almond in shape, their dusky blue irises striated by shades of celadon in her left and amber in her right, curtained by long lashes. Slim waisted and modestly curved, Ruphy's appearance is relatively underwhelming in the presence of others of her kind, her simplicity and asymmetry toning down her otherwise glorious appearance. Dividing her hair at a point just above and behind her ears, Ruphy's horns are smooth in texture and soothingly cool to the touch, the main horns dividing into two as they curve behind her ears and above her shoulders, one prong reaching behind her, and the other ending a few inches above her breasts. Upon the turn of night, her physical appearance shifts to that of a fiery headed Inarta. Although the length of her hair and height stays the same, her eyes shift to a mix of gold and green and her hair darkens to a midnight red. Her facial features shift from soft and elegant to defiant and sassy as her body returns to that of an Inarta youth. Winter: Light caramel hair with dark foliage green horns. Spring: Her hair is golden in colour and is reminiscent to that of ripe wheat, while her horn becomes the rippling green of new growth. Summer: Darkening into the red of a sunset, Ruphy's hair contrasts against her pale peach horns. Fall: Deepening into the colour of red maple leaves, Ruphy's hair matches her translucent carmine red horns. Character Concept Unable to hear and unused to speech, Ruphy is seen by many of those who interact with her as silent, polite, and shrouded in mystery. Easily flustered and embarrassed, she tends to flush and flail her hands in an attempt to clear misunderstandings during her visits to the market and Port Tranquil, dispersing the air of mystery around her during these brief bouts of blushing. These short occurrences dismiss the notions and rumors that arise from her silence, and, despite her apparent aloofness and unapproachable aura during her Ethaefal form, makes her out for a character who has yet to lose their innocence. Friendly and kind during the day, and just a tad bit sassier and witty during the night, Ruphy is gentle yet adamant on dispersing fights and resolving arguments, shunning conflict for the consequences that may arise from them. Likes: Sunsets, glass ornaments, objects that glimmer and sparkle, fruits, and natural bodies of water Dislikes: N/A Character History Relatively lacking in a past, Ruphy's history is composed of fragmented memories of her past life, and those of the celestial domains of Syna and Leth that she once dwelt in. Upon her fall from the realm of the the two gods, Ruphy was plunged into the watery banks of the Tranquil Port. Having arrived in the physical world unconscious, Ruphy was in risk of drowning but was saved by the waves that washed her up onto the shore, where she was found by an elderly couple during an evening walk in their attempts to escape the riot that resulted from the quake. Nurturing the unconscious Ruphy for the next 3 days, and since they were advised not to, the elderly couple kept themselves busy with the girl. After awakening, Ruphy was taken in by the couple, unofficially becoming their daughter, before they left to witness the mass funerary rites performed at the Tranquil Port. The image of the burning bodies floating emblazoned themselves in her mind, the flickering lights and the rafts a beautiful, yet dreadful, vision to behold. Helping around the small cottage whenever possible, digging up fresh water mussels and other shelled mollusks for income, and learning as much as she can from the couple with the little time they have left. All the knowledge she has of the world comes from these two benefactors, and all of her belongings were gifts from the same two. Character at Present After finding her parents dead one day after returning from digging up mussels at the Tranquil Port, Ruphy found a will entrusting her with the heirloom and the money that came from selling the cottage and it's simple decoration and furniture. Attached to the will were the tasks (concerning their clothing and their funeral) that they wished for Ruphy to perform before she had to leave the cottage for good. After completing the tasks, Ruphy followed her late parents' wishes for her to study within the city and to see what the world can offer her. There's even a Visit at least once list her parents left her and an entire list of books they wanted her to read from the library. ![]() Skill Points
