Hammer and Nail is the blacksmith shop owned and run by the Radacke's and located upon the East Bank of Kenash. Warm fire light can be seen at all hours of the day when peering in through the windows of Hammer and Nail, a sturdy stone building that shows the simple, yet effective techniques of Radacke craftsmanship. A bright red roof signals the passerby from the bustling streets, and though there is no signage explaining it's purpose, it doesn't take long for a potential buyer to hear the constant hammering, banging, or the billowing smoke that signals the shop's true purpose. Upon the first floor of Hammer and Nail lies the forge and workshop which can accommodate many a project, but focuses on metal and woodworking. The walls are lined with shining well kept tools, and the floor, though nearly black from soot and coal leavings, is always swept clean and clear of any obstructions. Here one can see many projects in progress, half finished weaponry, barrels, and rates collecting orders of nails, horseshoes, doorknobs, and the like are all labelled and organized based on date and priority of the order. A set of well worn steps that curls around the wood working section of the first floor takes the shopper to the actual shop. Here you'll meet Taiyl, a warm and conversation loving slave who know one is quite sure how he came out of Radacke hands. Despite the fact that Taiyl does none of the making of Hammer and Nail's goods, he knows every detail about them and seems to enjoy waiting hand and foot on customers of any standing in order to get them their perfect purchase. The upstairs is just as well organized as the first floor, weapons and armor taking up one wall of space, while more mundane and utilitarian supplies occupying various tables, shelves and floor space, wide isles leading to the front desk where transactions take place. Occasionally one will see the creator of most all of the products of Hammer and Nail, Liana, a hard working mixed blood Isur who rarely speaks, and smiles even less. Together the two run the shop under the watchful eyes of various Radacke family members who utilize the shop for various purposes and projects.   NPCs Name: Liana Race: Vantha DoB: 5th of Winter, 450 A.V. She was taken as a slave at an early age when captured by slavers on a journey with her family from Avanthal to Syliras, and having shown a knack with construction of all kinds was snatched up by the Radacke family and made into a fine example of a skilled slave. Over the years she was given charge at least in part over Hammer and Nail's business and inventory. Liana prefers to leave all the finances and shop keeping in the hands of Taiyl, giving her more time to work in the forge finishing orders. Name: Taiyl Race: Human DoB: 17th of Spring, 489 A.V.
