Hey all.

Welcome all the new folks in Wind Reach. We're thrilled to have you, even the dreaded Symenestra! As most of you know, I've been on unoffical leave for most of the month for a home remodel. It started out kinda small (just a floor redo for one weekend) and turned into new siding, an extension on the house, and a new deck. So that equaled no sleep, early morning interruptions by contractors, and to top that off I'm serving jury duty in the mornings...

And... now that the siding is DONE... officially the only thing we really have to worry about is pounding on one side of the house for the roof porch and the deck the week after. So I promise by the end of the month (the end of the remodel and jury duty) I'll have my act together.

I wish all of you a lot of fun in the mean time. Keep each other entertained, and I'll post like crazy when I'm back fully.

Hey Guys!

I'm still semi-away this month with a big home remodel. If anyone needs specific moderation for a location, PLEASE drop it in my office because I'm not checking the forum threads regularly and you will get missed. If I know you are there waiting, I will be sure to give you moderation. I promise. Just let me know because WR can be spammy and I don't always see someone wanting to buy a pair of shoes at the bazaar etc.

Hey Folks!

Update time. My contractor gave me the news today that hes pulling off my job for two weeks to catch up other jobs (remember the rot? We got extra attention then but now since the weather is turning good he has to finish some delayed roofing projects elsewhere). That means, I'm back for the next two weeks active. That also means that if he returns early I might disappear early or be gone again for two weeks in two weeks.

Or if the hot tub comes early, I might just start living in it in my driveway regardless if the whole world can see me or not.

We do have other obligations though. I'm still redoing flooring and painting walls. The new carpet is on delay until after christmas because we have a new puppy coming and thats a lethal combination until after the accident stage is over. So I'll be here, but I'll be a little under the radar still. As always, I'll answer PMs and if you need special moderation, just nudge me. Don't let your PC sit in a shop for more than a day or two or say at the VAlintar's office without a heads up my direction. You won't be bugging me.. I need to know your waiting because I don't have time to investigate on my own.

Hello WR folks!

I need to give you some updates on Wind Reach.

First and foremost, if you have moderation waiting, please post in my office. This means if its a shop, location, the valintar, or a quest. I am going to play some serious catchup and start making sure things are hit in a timely manner now that I'm fully back.

Also, development is going to go into high gear so we can get the rest of the locations done and installed. Also, look for the posting rules in Wind Reach to be fleshed out here in a day or two. Its my goal to have all the locations completely finished by the end of the month.

There will be a new thread or a section to an existing sticky thread that will mark the major events of the season. There will be a big one every month that will give you an opportunity to join a thread and interact with the community. Some of these will be mysteries, some outside adventures, and some will be other more esoteric happenings. There will also be an accounting of weather, magical events, and divine interactions. This way, you guys know whats forthcoming and what you'd like to do. That way, if we have interest in the events, I can run threads and get some XP/Fun flowing.

Wind reach is a self driven city as well. So if you have ambitions and want to open a business, hold an event - say a poetry contest or dance - or even perhaps have a little fun down at the lake, feel free to talk with me and we'll get the ball rolling.

Regardless.. .now that I'm 'back' please lets get the communication going and make this city a bustling hub of specialized activity.

Hey guys!

There's a lot of new folks here so when I sat down to start PMing you all about your horrendious signature sizes, I only made it through two people before I decided to post a general heads up here.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR SIGNATURES ARE THE PROPER SIZE. The proper size is 600 pixels wide and 150 pixels tall. Pretty much everyone new thats started in the last few days has a signature that's far too large. Please make this correction quickly!
