Appearance
Standing at 5 feet and 7 inches, Zaylunao displays strength in both mind and body with her upright posture, sharp eyes, and powerful figure. Years in the icy tundras of Taldera have toughened her exterior and swelled the muscles beneath, but the cold climate has done little to age her features. Framed by dark, bronze strands of hair is a gentle face with a pearlique set of lips, high cheekbones, and aquiline nose. In terms of her body, the hourglass shape begins with a set of broad shoulders and a humble bust, bridges the gap, and then ends with a pair of thighs hardened by the thick sleet and snow of Northern Avanthal. Slender fingers branch out from long palms, supported on long, muscular arms. Her feet, battered and bruised, have the wear and tear of constant travel etched into the soles.
When it comes to fashion, Zaylunao stays modest. Mobility is valued, meaning that long dresses and flowing gowns are not likely to adorn her. Frills are not unwelcomed, though. She does make an effort to look nice. During the warmer seasons she's more inclined to wear vibrant colors like orange and red, while staying close to the darker hues of black and brown during winter and fall. Her current outfit consists of an incredibly thick, black calista coat, white cotton undershirt, golden-colored scarf, dark-blue pants, winter boots, and -of course- some undergarments.
One of her most identifiable features is her masks. Typically marked with glyphs, Zaylunao will wear these self-made disguises during formal combat to help mobility, strength, and to protect against magic. They are novice at best, but at least have some effort put into them.

If necessary, she will use force to bring things back to order.
Zaylunao places a huge amount of importance on personal responsibility, and relies on her own methods of thinking. More often than not, she can come off as stubborn. She is slow to embrace new ideas, hesitant to move outside her comfort zone, and not likely to accept "no" as an answer. Her die-hard attitude, combined with her neat and orderly demeanor, give her the persona of the "hard-ass". Firm, demanding, and precise. She is not one to be easily swayed by selfish desire and considers herself to be a noble person.
To those closest to her, she can be a good beacon around which to orbit. Her solid grounding in reality allows her to speak directly, often saying what others are too afraid to admit. She is the friend that punches you in the gut and tells you to stop crying. It was a strange and unexpected change in her life that caused her to leave the comforts of her home to travel across Taldera in search of someone with only a scrap of paper cluing her to their whereabouts. It was during this time that she matured into the business-minded woman she is now. Dealing only with facts, Zaylunao disregarded theories and guesses and was led by hard evidence during her search.
The years grew long, and the spark that had first fed the flames of her adventure was growing weak. Even so, the hardships of her travels were not for nothing. She found an interest in Flux and Glyphing, enjoying the sense of control that they granted. body building become another of her hobbies, following a daily regime to keep herself fit and able-bodied. Yet it was not enough to distract her from her goals. It was obvious that she would not find the answers she wanted by staying in the north, and set her sights on the other nations of Mizahar to continue her search.
Her travels have made her weary, and she is no longer as eager to trek across the world as she once was. In truth, she wants to find a place to settle down and call home, but her inability to give up prevents her from abandoning her mission.
