The Bizarre was, as always, bustling with life. Shiloh had entered the building on a whim, as was what directed the majority of his choices, feeling as though there was something he was supposed to be doing there. Rummaging in his rucksack for a moment, he found a little parcel addressed to one Myra the Isur woman with no hair selling pendants. Clicking his tongue, Shiloh tried to remember who had given him the request, but being unable to recall, decided to deliver it anyway. It was a fairly rare thing for him to get paid, but when he did, it was always just enough, something he'd just come to accept. Some people paid, some people didn't.
Wandering through the building, his eyes caught on each and every shining, sparkling treasure. His nose was pulled about by the many different scents ranging from sweet and heady to light and spicy. The people themselves were distractions for him as he drifted through the innumerable stalls. Each and every one might have been an illusion, there was just simply no way of telling. Grinning, Shiloh hummed to himself, matching the buzzing drone of the myriad of voices blending together. It was strangely peaceful amid the complete and utter chaos, though Shiloh found plenty to be excited about.
A vendor on his right offered elixirs for semi-ever-lasting beauty, shaking about a purple liquid contained within an impressive looking glass bottle with a cork stopper. A young woman to his right was screaming about the low quality of a fork she was trying to haggle down, while the shopkeep screamed right back explaining to her how very daft she was for even instantiating her insults. Shiloh laughed, passing by the lot of them, reaching out and brushing the hands of some of the people who passed, if only to see if they felt as real as they seemed. This garnered him a few surprised glances, but as everyone seemed to have a place to go or something to see, no one stopped to confront him about it.
Farther ahead, there was a man shouting above the rest, standing upon a table to become all the more visible. "For only a limited time only, I'm willing to sell you these magnificent hooglethorps!" Interest piqued, Shiloh pushed his way through the crowd, his wide sleepy eyes focused on the man on the table. He had the most astonishing bush of a mustache that moved just as wildly as a tree in a windstorm. His head was a bulbous, bald bulge that sat atop his rounded shoulders like an egg in a nest. His arms appeared slightly shorter than they should have been, though that might have just been the way he frantically waved them. Dressed in the colorful garb of the Alvads, he was quite the show in and of himself.
"That's right, the hooglethorp is the latest in a long string of reliable inventions brought to you from the distant island city of Sahova! Marvel at its majesty! Bask in its brilliance! For the low low price of five - yes five - golden Mizas, this glorious gadget could be yours!" Shiloh glanced around, trying to spy the mysterious "hooglethorp". There were a pile of shiny looking baubles near the foot of the table that were the likely owners of the title, though they didn't seem particularly all that brilliant. It was then he felt a slight brush against his hip. Glancing down, Shiloh spied fingers on his coin pouch that weren't his. Jerking his head around, he turned to face the culprit, his face in a frown. "That's not yours."
