Hadlyn Guinevere Lovelace Appearance Race: Mixed (Half-Zith) Gender: Female Age: 20 Birthday: Spring 493 Birthplace: XY Appearance: Height: 5' Build: Slender (weight: around 90 pounds) Hair Color: Dark, dark red-black, thick and long Eye Color: black Skin Color: very dark, not a warm brown but more of a blackish color Distinctive Features (features, tattoos, scars, birthmarks, etc): Wing stubs, notable sharpening on her teeth, definitely something that is not quite human, has a few scars received from numerous tussles in her life, has a burn mark (white scar tissue) on her left forearm Character Concept --Half Zith therefore is typically discriminated against; there are such things as Zith hunters to be sure --has a passion for learning which her mother exploited to teach her a lot about herbs and medicine --has a developed split personality; one side is symbolized by her human half and has traits such as compassion and caring as well as empathy; the other side embodies her Zith side which is often desires that she kill and consume flesh, luckily this side is fairly dormant --is "vegetarian" in that she typically only consumes fruits and only eats meat when her "other side" emerges. This is because she has a very deep bond with many animals --Doesn't enjoy violence, for the most part --her primary weakness is the fear of losing control; her primary strength is her desire to overcome her baser instincts and (usually) succeed in that battle --she is also very empathetic which can be both a strength and a weakness. Her high sensitivity to others emotions makes her very vulnerable if she is around others who detest her or fear her; however it assists her in finding the drive to help others --she does not take discrimination well and is very lonely. She is often afraid of the judgmental attitudes of others and as a result, she tends to isolate herself. Character History Born in XY to a human slave of a Zith man. Mother escaped XY and made her way to Zeltiva with her three old daughter in Spring of 496. The two of them settled in Zeltiva and Hadlyn's mother (Guinevere) taught her the basics of Herbology and medicine. As Hadlyn aged, she began to show a desire to tame her baser instincts which her mother assisted her with. Hadlyn moved out of her mother's household and into the University quarters when she enrolled in some of the classes there. She resides there now, taking a few classes every season and gaining more skill which she hopes to use to open her own medical practice someday.
