= Phantasm Always tucked between two buildings down a slanting alley, Phantasm is identified by its namesake, emblazoned on a sign above its almost too-narrow door. Inside the shop is equally cramped, with strange oddities hanging from the ceiling or crammed into shelves. The entire place gives off the odd air of age, antiquity, and solace. Many have reported seeing phantom figures appearing and dissipating within the shop, often shocking enough to prompt someone to drop what they were holding. The purveyors of the shop are two siblings who grew up on the streets of Alvadas. Some say that they crawled up from the underground and spent the majority of their formative years with the spirits trapped in the mazes under the cobblestone. The female gives off an almost uncomfortable aura while her brother is far more adept at talking. While both are spiritists, the sister far outstrips the brother in skill and practice. However, her brother makes tidy business as a philterer and herbalist of some renown. Alvadas always seems to attract curious ghosts from either beneath its streets or across the seas. Some of the spirits find themselves trapped in Alvadas, never figuring out how to escape. The siblings take it as their job to ease the spirits till they are ready to move on, to help them complete unfinished business, or to dust them…in the most extreme measures. The one thing that neither of them will do is take someone to the Underground.   NPC Shinna Farr Spiritism 81, Auristics 62, Meditation 51, Acrobatics 45, Rhetoric 38 Gnosis Eiyon 2 Shinna has always been somewhat sensitive to the spiritual side of existence. As a child she and her brother received instruction in Spiritism from a ghost. The spirit was of a former spiritist of some renown, remaining to find another protector for the spirits of Alvadas. The ghost found that protector in Shinna. Shinna is quiet girl that sometimes has difficulty associating with ordinary people. She tends to speak slowly, used to the patience that seems to accumulate in spirits and wholly uninterested in the living. The only being with a heartbeat she speaks to is her brother, Rik, to whom she trusts unconditionally. Those speaking to Shinna will find she’s shy and hard to get to know, but a genius in spiritsm magic. [tabset=300]   NPC Rik Farr Philtering62, Medicine 59, Negotiation 57, Herbalism 52, Unarmed 45, Spiritism 39 Gnosis Eiyon 1, Viritas 1, Ionu 1 Rik has always looked out for his sister. The older of the two, it fell to Rik to teach his younger sister in the absence of a parental figure. Fiercely dedicated, he handles most of the day to day affairs of the shop. While he knows some Spiritism, he is nowhere near the level of his sister in its practice. However, Rik is an expert philterer and herbalist, a supplementary income to the shop. With his grasp of Spiritism he focuses on speaking with spirits, understanding them, empathizing and convincing. Rik believes all spirits remain behind for a specific reason, one that can be completed before they eventually consign to the cycle. He is understanding and patient, but can be quick to violence if his sister is threatened.   Prices There is little set pricing in Phantasm. Instead, Rik evaluates the request made and quotes a price…some say that he enjoys haggling, and keeps prices ambiguous for that specific reason.
