Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

The sun was shining brightly, the air cool with the occasional breeze, and all was peaceful. The ocean in particular reflected this calmness, lapping at the supports of the docks almost languidly, a harsh contrast to the activity on the docks. Everywhere there were workers in a constant flurry of motion, loading and unloading ships with various goods. While the air was calm, it was certainly saturated with various cries and orders from the laborers.

Amid the chaos, Nerida walked across one side of the dock calmly, Rasia following by her side. Having only been in Riverfall for a few days, she had felt an urge to be closer to Laviku's realm, and had dragged Aquia with her. So far it had been a rather pleasant experience, though the sight of a few sea gulls had been a nasty and wholly unwelcome scene.

"Aquia! How are you feeling about our time here so far?" She asked loudly, turning to face her walking companion properly. Next to her, Rasia accompanied the question with a short bark, drawing a few glances from the nearby workers. Ignoring their stares, she continued walking at a steady pace, re-arranging the Atani she wore on top of her blouse. She had been wearing the scarf whenever she walked around Riverfall, taking a small comfort in the protection it offered.

"Our time here?"

Aquia, having been left behind with her elder Pod sister Nerida as the others went out to do Laviku-knew-what, had been utterly bored before the taller girl had dragged her along her dock strolling. Although it was a...refreshing way to get closer to Laviku and Home, to the comforts of waterborne vessels, namely ships, and the misty spray of salty sea water, the petite teenager's hunger to be at sea could not be quenched by such meager offerings. Of course, although that was partially due to the cacophony of noise and the taunting presence of the ships, it was due to the very fact that she had been there since her arrival in Riverfall. She had learnt the entire stretch of the Dock by heart by the time that she had found her pod, having roamed its edges and wooden span day and, occasionally, night as she paced and swam as her mind churned away at various thoughts. It's charm was still there, in the livelihood of its occupants, the greetings and shouts, and in the magnificent view that it held, but Aquia wanted, needed, something more.
She needed to be back on a ship. Her blood demanded it.

"Good, I guess," Aquia finally replied to her Pod sister. The question was a hard one for the small girl; being alone in a strange city for a few weeks while your mind mulled over hope and doubt was never a good thing for your mind. However, at that very moment, she was still happy about reuniting with the rest of her Pod, or what was left of it.

Walking behind Nerida at a languid pace, Aquia returned once more to contemplating about how the pod was going to return back to their birthright. She wondered about what the others were doing, and, most of all, about how good it was to be together again. Yes, she was a sentimental heap of flesh and bones, but she didn't care for any of that. She wasn't alone anymore, and she was reveling in the warmth of family, no matter how close they were to one another or not.

Still, lingering somewhere in her mind, was a curiosity as to where on Mizahar was Neri taking them. Sister time was good, but aimless wandering, especially outside the confines of the dock, could get them lost. Badly. And getting lost, especially in Riverfall, with its complex tier system, was something Aquia didn't want.

"That's good to know!" Nerida responded, her pace beginning to slow. Eventually, she stopped, eyes fixed on the sparkling view before her. She hadn't thought of a destination before going out on this walk, simply wanting something to do. The two of them had been left to their own devices, and a little stroll wouldn't do any harm.

"What do you think the others are doing?" She asked Aquia, voice punctuated by Rasia slipping into the water before her. Shooting a glance at her Pod Sister, Nerida crouched down, sitting on the edge of the planks making up the dock. She dangled her hand in the water, waiting for a response.

OOCAhhh I am extremely sorry for the delay!! I think Mizahar has been going into my spam folder ://
