Skinny and handsome, Vertigo stands at a height of 5'9, a little shorter than average. But what he lacks in height is made up for in his rugged handsomeness. His eyes are a vivid orange-teal, the same as his grandfather. He shaves, but when he doesn't, he wears his blonde bristles proudly and gallantly. His hair is blonde in spiky waves reminiscent of anime, though he's all up for dying it. He's never been the strong, stocky type like his Isur best friend, but hasn't much cared.

To most, he looks to be an average person on the street. That's because he is.

CONCEPT

Vertigo is a man with not to many worries but many issues, like his new job and finding someone to start a life with. He loves himself for who he is, although many relatives say he is too stubborn, carefree, and speaks his mind more than he should.

His mind wanders as he deals with many problems he'd only think about when he was high. His best friend, Leonis, wants to leave the University to be a metalworker, and wants Vertigo to go, too. On the other hand, his father and mother want him to stay and become a doctor like them. Vertigo has no idea what to do, and constanly wonders whether to disappoint his family, or lose the one guy he's known his entire life.

HISTORY

Born in Alvadas on accident, Vertigo was born with a twin, Vitras, 4 minutes apart from each other. The moment he was born, he was rushed back to his mother Datri's, a Vantha, home in Avanthal. His and Vitras's birth was welcomed in the Winterflame household, but not in the Greene household. His father refused to ever bring the twins back after a heated argument about "Vantha half-breed bastards" with his parents.

At age 6, it was soon discovered that Vertigo hadn't the ability to storytell like his mother.This made Vertigo upset, since he loved the way his mother could start telling a story at anytime, with no pretence. For a while, Datri thought he was in a sort of depression. Vitras did not have this trait, either, which strengthened their bond as identical twins. But, they once got into a fight over why they didn't have any shape-shifting abilities, Vitras throwing a large rock at Vertigo's head, and Vertigo breaking Vitras's nose. They immediately made up, Vertigo hating himself for not being more compassionate to Vitras.

Then, 14 years later, Vertigo left for the University of Zeltiva as Vitras went off to Endrykas to "seek his fortune." He left the familiar comfort of Avanthal with a suitcase with clothes and toiletries, 36 silver-rimmed mizas and 3 kinas from his mother's secret store.
