Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

[Alvadas Location] Aislyn's Abode

Aislyn, as she has since birth, lives with her mother in a tiny, 400sq.ft. cottage, equipped with large windows on each wall respectively. Though it is technically her mother’s home, Lyn refers to the house as her own, as her mother is nearly always at her carving shop. Which, conveniently, usually appears near the house. As with all Alvad buildings, the house and shop change places regularly. Unlike all of said buildings, however, they usually appear together. Aislyn suspects this is due to Ionu’s apparent liking to the mother and daughter pairing.

The house is modestly decorated on the outside, with only a small patch of what could only be described as a flower graveyard to decorate it. The miniature garden sitting outside the home has, not blooming flowers growing in it, but rather wilted stalks of them. Brown petals frequently litter the plot, though once or twice a green sprout is seen peaking up from the dirt. Nothing lives for long in the garden, however, as, though it is cared for lovingly by Aislyn's mother, it is not cared for well. Aislyn has learned to ignore this fact, however, as her mother gets rather offended should one insult her garden. In her blurred mind, the patch of ground is just as beautiful as any pampered plot of land, filled with blooming flowers any time of year.

Other than the dead garden, the outside of the house is nothing special. Once on the inside, however, one is in for a treat. The walls are covered in parchment, with each and every piece of paper containing a drawing, painting, or otherwise indecipherable doodle. Most of the artworks are done by Aislyn, though it was her mother’s idea to plaster them on the walls. Some of the works are quite simple, obviously done by a child, but others look as if they are still drying on the walls, just recently added to the collage.

The drawings are obvious signs of insanity, though Aislyn shows no signs of what her mother suffers so heavily from. On top of that, since Lyn rarely has visitors, she gives no thought to what others may think of the insanity collage. It’s just another part of life, in her and her mother’s eyes. Nothing strange about it.

Many of the drawings include symbols of Ionu, indescribable monstrosities, or a picture of darkness, with two figures standing in a light. One of the most noticeable drawings, placed just above the doorway, depicts a figure, seemingly a woman, standing silhouetted in darkness, with small veins of black charcoal marks seeping into the figure. Another mentionable sketch is one of a face, or rather, many faces, all layered on top of each other. Though not immediately obvious, each face has a resemblance to one of Aislyn’s illusions. It is quite sentimental to Lyn, though it is not obvious why, to anyone who casts a glancing look at the drawing.

Inside the cottage, there is scarce furniture, with a cooking hearth being the most exquisite item in the room. Aislyn’s mother has a knack for cooking, even if she knows only basic recipes, much like Aislyn herself. This is why the cupboard above the hearth is stocked with everything from bowls to soup spoons, with extreme precision used in organizing the cutlery. Next to the hearth there is a chairless table, presumably for cooking. The area usually smells strongly of some sort of herb, be it exotic or the simple aroma of whatever was cooked last.

Across the room from the hearth, there is a ragged bed, where Aislyn’s mother sleeps. The bed, though of poor quality, is more spacious and comfortable than the bunk in which Lyn herself sleeps. The mother and daughter duo live modestly, which, besides the drawings, leaves the house looking relatively normal.

Summer, 514 :
As of the fourth of Summer, 514 AV, a sign is hooked on the inside of the front window, with a rough sketch of a glyph similar to those Aislyn drew for Kuvarakh. The sign is always in clear view of any passerby, though to any stranger it seems like merely a strange decoration. To those who need to find her, however, it is a symbol of her presence. It is there to help Kuv, or anyone sent by him, to find her in the ever-changing city of Alvadas.

Spring, 515 :
As of Spring 75th, 515 AV, a wooden post with a box affixed on top presents itself in front of the abode. Lettering under a slit in the box's face reads "The Artist". Appeared after this.
