Cecily Lightfoot Appearance Race: Human Gender: Female Age: 19 Birthday: 14, Winter, 494 AV Birthplace: Catholicon, Lhavit Appearance: Cecily is a petite girl with pale ivory skin and big bright green eyes. They slightly protrude, as her sparkling emerald eyes speak louder than she at times. Her incredibly long, ink-black hair is pin-straight, complementing her glowing milky complexion. It is neatly combed, kept tied loosed towards the lower part most of the time, with her bangs swept back in a clip. Cecily's small, downturned mouth disguises the not-so-small presence she creates when she parts her full, ruby-red lips to speak. Character Concept Cecily has a very sweet and bubbly personality. She was taught at an early age that even a little bit of kindness can go a very long way. She often goes out of her way to help others, and can sometimes even get in a bit of trouble. But no matter the situation, Cecily always makes a huge effort to be extremely polite and accommodating. She is very friendly to anyone and everyone she may encounter, and unlike most Lhavitians, tolerates even the most despised of races, including the Dhani and Zith. One of Cecily's goals in life is to become a world-renowned Jewelcrafter, and become as talented in the craft as her father once was. She dedicates most of her time and energy into fulfilling this wish. Cecily's welcoming personality also contributes to how well she can interact with others in order to maintain her comfortable lifestyle. As a hopeful Jewelcrafter, Cecily exhibits much patience and understanding with others, even those that might be seen as extremely difficult. If one was to anger the sweet innocent Cecily, it would take a lot of prodding and poking to achieve. She is not easily irritated, and could tolerate even the most rowdy of children. Although, if pushed to that level, Cecily is the type that will still have a sweet smile on her face, despite being at her wit's end, and that, at times, is more intimidating than if she were to become enraged. Character History Cecily had a relatively basic childhood. Born an only child, Cecily was adored by her mother and father, and she adored them as well. Quite often, she and her family would venture to the Trail of Waterfalls, and spend the day scouring the shore in search of what Cecily thought were 'pretty magic shells' so she could make jewelry like her father. Her father was a skilled Jewelcraftsman, and he even crafted a lovely ring made of copper with a coral agate setting, and gave it to his beloved daughter because the stone reminded him so much of her gentle eyes. Her father also worked in an expensive jewelry shop for a time, until he was replaced by younger workers who didn't need to be paid as much, seeing as they had little to no experience. Despite the lack of income because of her father's lost job, they were still able to get by comfortably. Her mother was a very kind woman, and had relations with most of the people in town, who were more than happy to take them in. Unfortunately, soon after Cecily's father lost his job, he passed away. In order to make due, Cecily and her mother helped with housework and odd jobs whenever they were needed. In her free time, Cecily continued to polish her jewelcrafting skills. She began saving up in order to open up her own jewelry shop that was honest and kept a close relationship with every one of its employees, unlike the shop that laid off her father, in her view.
