The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

The summer is over and the warmth of the season fades with it but that doesn’t stop the streets from being filled with festivals and parties at every turn! As cooler weather descends upon the mountains this season seems to be ripe with more events than usual. While not every day is peaches and honey there seems to be an unspoken agreement between the schools and the towers to make this season one that will never be forgotten. A season of beginnings, the fall starts with a bang as a special treat lays upon the streets of unsuspecting tourists and locals alike. Rumors spread of all kinds setting fears and anxieties to blaze but they are forgotten almost as soon as they are heard. The fall festivities crescendo with a mid season soirée that will be spoken about for seasons to come. Even the end of the season seems to hold its surprises and the city can finally breathe a sigh of relief before turning their attention to the coming winter months that are bound to be abundant with hardships.

  • 1st- The first day of fall brings in a refreshing shower that cools the mountain peaks signifying the end of the summer heat wave and giving hint to the cooler season ahead.
  • 2nd – The Cosmos Center along with The Ethereal Opera House welcomes in the new season with guided tours of the city so unique even the locals will enjoy it!
  • 5th – A posted sign can be seen hanging outside of Bright Lights. There will be a small seminar held on the history of candle making and everyone gets to go home with a free small scented candle made by Umelus and Clisca themselves!
  • 8th- The fountains at Springwater Square are over run with bubbles! Perhaps a prank or an innocent mistake - either way by early afternoon the square is full of people playing in them. It is taking longer than it should to stop the mess and clear it up, but by late evening the square is back in order.
  • 11th- College Fair in Surya Plaza! There are vendors of food and reimancer’s dancing. Each magic of the colleges are equally represented with fantastic displays from students and teachers. Even the Alluvion Academy has come to join the fun and encourage learning of the non-magical sort.
  • 17th – A bedroom in The Red Lantern erupts in fire but it was contained quickly. One of Madame Belladona’s sirens escaped the room with only second degree burns and was taken to the Catholicon.
  • 23rd- Hysteria about the thefts over summer have led one house wife to run screaming through the streets that Incognito has come after her this time and stole her mother’s earrings. The earrings are later found in her child’s bassinet, the little tike liked how shiny they were.
  • 28th- Businesses shut down because of the storms.
  • 30th- Businesses reopen despite there being no end in sight of the storms.
  • 36th- The man who set the fire in The Red Lantern was caught. He was a local student of Reimancy and upset that he couldn’t afford the Siren he sought. The Dawn Tower has taken swift justice upon this youth and he will be doing community service until his debt to The Red Lantern is paid off.
  • 41st- The grottos in The Zintia Rest have been closed for an afternoon cleaning after some unwanted activity. Rumor has it that a child was sick in the baths; private rooms are still available though backed up due to wait times. The staff apologizes for this inconvenience.
  • 50th- The Bonfire Ball: The sky of Lhavit will be lit not only by stars tonight but also by dancing flames. All are welcome to this formal affair so wear your best and be ready to be entranced by this soirée. This lovely evening is hosted by our very own Councilor Radiant, Alses, at Elysium Hall.
  • 61st-There is an increase of "ghosts" that show up in the city when Syna fades into darkness and Leth dominates the sky. They roam the city until the sun rises again and then they disappear just as quietly as they came.
  • 66th- A group of local children have set up a face painting booth in the center of Surya Plaza offering face paintings to anyone who walks by for a jade kina.
  • 70th – The Moon Festival is finally here! The city is alight with lanterns and the air is heavily sweetened from peonies and pastries.
  • 75th- PIramba’s Pet Shop has a new litter of kittens. Adopt them to a good home while they last!
  • 82nd- Tain’s Studio is showcasing the latest work of local artists from the season and as always scouting for new talents in the crowds.
  • 88th- Gentleman’s night at the Obsidian Club, entertainment provided by The Red Lantern: You can look but touching will cost you extra.
  • 91st- In a splendid close to the season The Ethereal Opera House puts on a show. Who better to open and end the season then these talented folk?

The fall season lasts through September, October and November of real time. For each real month there are four different goals, twelve goals total. Completing all twelve rewards a medal, while completing the thread goals for all four SEASONS awards an even cooler medal!

These thread goals may be combined into the same thread or may be done in twelve separate threads, but all twelve goals must be present in order to receive credit. Threads do not need to be completed in the month they are posted in - they simply need to be finished to count.

Now the fun part! Thread Goals were created to help give you a nudge should your inspiration be lacking. They can inspire a PC to do something they normally wouldn't, have them meet new and exciting people or even explore things that you as the writer might not even be aware of yet! These are supposed to be fun and creative. Just keep in mind the prompts listed below are just that: prompts. They can be applied anyway you choose. If a goal is to get your PC into a fight, but alas! Your PC doesn't fight? Perhaps they get into a fight with themselves over something they think they did wrong, or regretted not doing. It's really up to you how creative you get with it!
