Symenestra and Climbing [Poll]

As per a discussion in chat based on a thought that struck me, I'm sticking this up for a community vote/discussion. As races like the Konti and Charoda automatically know the Swimming skill, I was wondering if the Symenestra had the same automatic skill in Climbing. Given their nature it sounds reasonable but seeing as it isn't specifically said and there might be some circumstances that aren't being taken into account, a decision on the subject seems to be in order. If the overall outcome leans towards the side of Climbing being a natural skill then Gossamer has offered to add it to the lore as fact.

Anyone who agrees or disagrees with this point can post their views here so we can see what way this is going to go. I think that it's an automatic skill so that's my vote in. Anyone else?

Due to the results of this poll, much like Konti get swimming as a freebie, I've given Symenestra Climbing as a freebie. The wiki has been updated accordingly. Feel free to discuss this in this thread or ask questions.

Does this mean that races with freebie skills automatically get mastery in their racial skill? I've never been totally clear on that-thankfully a situation hasn't come up where I've needed to award a Charoda Swimming XP.

It means they can do it without a skill rating. Charoda and Konti swim naturally... they don't need skill points awarded. Akvatari and Zith fly naturally. They don't need skill points. Syms now climb naturally. They don't need awarded skill points.
