Physical Appearence

Sporting a petite stature, Kiunae reaches no higher than 5'2'' even as a fully grown woman. There's no mistaking her heritage as she possesses all the elegance and beauty of the northern tundra with a deeper hue to her skin and a certain shimmer to her dark hair, bordering on pitch black that reflects light in green and violet. Like all of Morwen's children, her eyes constantly shift between all the colours of the aurora and more still to reflect her state of mind.

Character Concept

A northern beauty run south, Kiunae is only misplaced in Kenash because she wound up in the wrong family. Purebred with Vantha blood to rival the Loraks, she's been imported straight from the city under the Aurora to serve the Ackina dynasty as a wife and researcher in the sciences surrounding Kelvics and their breeding.

Kiunae is a naturally curious woman, though she's reserved for a Vantha. She moves with elegance and less dramatic flair than most of her kin and has a taste for the subtle arts. As a hypnotist, she's come to appreciate the silent cues more than anything else; in humans and animals alike. Kelvics especially are a subject of much interest, which is what piqued the interest of her husband when he first discovered her in Avanthal and decided to seize her hand in marriage and bring her back to Kenash.

Her reserved nature shelters an extremely guarded and sensitive interior. Kiunae is very critical of others and her environment and does not often give the benefit of the doubt. She protects herself with furious tenacity so that her inner sanctuary may not be invaded like she, herself, invades others when practicing her magical art. The mind is a battlefield and she fights tooth and nail to stay on top so she does not lose herself to her own weapon of choice.

Heirloom

Kiunae's heirloom is a small trinket she likes to carry on her person in a variety of ways. It's a small glass prism with a clasp that enables it to be worn on a chain or string. The small trinket has a very small monetary value though serves an important purpose to the Vantha. Light breaking through the prism takes on the shifting colours of the Aurora of Taldera, serving as a well-needed reminder of Home.

Housing

A suite in the Clawstone plantation's manor with Good-Quality fireplace, bed, trunk, chest of drawers, chair and desk. The room doesn't see much use beyond when Kiunae returns from her business locales in Kenash to get a much-needed rest in the safety and solitude of her suite. Strangely, she does not seem to share it with her husband.

Companions

Kainue is an Imperial Watcher breed dog and was born at the 76th of Winter, 509 AV. He was granted to Kiunae by her Frostfawn family in commemoration of her 20th birthday when he was barely even a season old. The pup grew quickly and flourished in Kiunae's care under the careful supervision of the rest of her family. He is loyal and fiercely protective. At times headstrong and forceful and slightly possessive of his owner. Kiunae and Kainue have a nurturing, mutual relationship and are dear friends.

Aeval is an Imperial Watcher breed dog and was born on the 4th of Winter, 512 AV. He was granted to Kiunae as a parting gift by her Frostfawn family once it became clear that she was leaving Avanthal shortly following her wedding into the Ackina dynasty of Kenash. Kiunae struggled to raise Aeval during the trip from Avanthal to Kenash as the dog didn't have the same warm tendencies as Kainue. Instead, he was hypervigilant and spared no time for gentle socialization. He is faithful, but independent. His relationship to Kiunae is simple, but respectful.

Ice Reaving 1, by Morwen. The mark renders her resistant to cold which makes the cold tundra of Taldera easier--even comfortable--to live in. In addition, it gives her the ability to control the temperature of ice--freezing and melting it--and to determine the thickness of ice. While she cannot manipulate or create ice, she can chip away at formed masses of ice like a sculptor would to get it into the shape she desires.
