10th Of Fall 514 AV
It was another day, a new beginning for the enchantress. Silvery grey eyes peered with a look of both disappointment and disgust at her very first creation on the island. And while she worked wonders with the limited resources she had been given, she had ultimately succeeded in her primary objective but the otherwise exemplary item was lackluster in her eyes.
It was a rather text book example of her work, the typical cookie cutter magic item that had no other traits other then being enchanted and enhanced by gnosis. But was that to be the prime example of her craftsmanship?
The item did contest as it glowed fervently through the folds of cloth it had been wrapped in as if trying to redeem itself. It was a versatile balance for the right situation, caverns and sepultures were dark and dangerous places a sword like this allowed the user to no longer need the safety and limited duration of the torch.
But in the gaze of the Isur that sword was nothing more then a trivial trinket. Would that really be her presentation ? They would surely laugh her off the island.
It was rather elementary after all, drawing the property of one object and placing it into another. The magic could be done without spells, thus the mage crafters sphere of influence went beyond personal magic.
She often theorized dismantling maledicted items to use as reagents, but that was murky water she dared not tread until she was properly funded and adequately certain it could be done.
There were other ways to show off her prowess, and this next item would be a prime example.
Using a glyphed scroll which contained a lower level hypnotism spell, and using that as the primary source in which to empower an item.
