The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Phelan yawned and shook himself as he walked up the trail, having stayed up late last night doing absolutely nothing of consequence. So now, he was walking up the trail in order to wake himself up and get some exercise. The morning was a slow one, with not much going on, but he figured if he got the chance, he might be able to get some small game for breakfast this morning.

So it was that the blacksmith found himself walking away from the main part of the trail, among the trees in order to find something might be interested in hunting, as well as being away from the main part of the trail in case he needed to undress before shifting forms. While the Kelvic wasn't worried about being seen naked himself, he knew that others weren't fond of seeing other people naked in public and he tried not to embarrass his oversensitive neighbors.

[Waterfall Trail] The Wolf and the Hunter

Cyna had left amaranthine gate and traveled down the misty peaks. She nodded to Hachia the guide that helped visitors and merchants up the peaks to the gate. Cyna had guided her mare Rose down the peaks and into the alpine wilderness before mounting her, the last thing she needed was for her horse to tumble down the hill with her atop the horse. It had taken her little time to find the trail that lead the fall’s; she had taken the trail a few times before. Cyna had a love for the fall’s it had been one of the few places her and her husband had traveled before he passed away. It had also become a loved fishing spot for her, and that’s what she had in mind today had been a day of fishing.

Cyna nudged her heels into the horse bringing the horse to a nice slow gallop as she made her way through the woods along the bumpy trail, singing to aloud in a soft voice. She sung to let the animals know she was traveling through the woods, the beast more likely to avoid human contact then confront them. It wasn’t the beast she was worried about, it would be the people that stalked the woods and she was not relaxed as she traveled the trail. Cyna kept an eye out for footprints and tracks of anything that would be out of the ordinary, she saw an old worn foot print here and there. Cyna could see no sign of recent activity from man or beast.

Then the sound of a branch snapping echoed through the woods, Cyna bringing her mare to a quick stop as she tried to locate the sound. She knew it was something big that had caused the noise, she wasn’t sure if she had scared off a deer, bear or other large animal. Then sound of another branch snapping, this time the sound being a lot softer; almost as if the cause of the sound had stepped softly. She wasn’t sure, but she felt like something was stalking her and the constant shuffling of her uneasy horse. Only amplified that uneasy feeling she now felt in her gut, drawing her sword and holding it tightly in her right hand. She caused her horse to circle slowly as she glanced into the woods before calling out.

“Be you man or beast?” Cyna knew a beast wouldn’t respond, but hoped her loud noise would cause the predator to flee, if it was man she was certain to flee. It wasn’t uncommon for ambushes along wooded trails even in remote regions such as this.

Phelan hadn't been wandering around the woods long before he heard someone else wandering around and quieted his approach, in case the other person was dangerous. However, it seemed his stealth skills were non-existent as the other person apparently still heard him. "A female voice...doesn't seem to mean any harm..." he thought as the other person called out.

Briefly, he considered not answering at all and letting her think he was an animal, but he ultimately decided against that approach. "Both, really. I'm a Kelvic blacksmith from the city. Not meaning any harm, ma'am." he said, stopping his approach and looking around to see if he could get a glimpse of the woman. "Now, I don't particularly care why you're out here, but I'm just out here to hunt, not pick a fight with complete strangers, so if it's all the same to you, I'd like to go back to my hunting in peace, unless you'd rather partner up." he said, still looking around for the woman, hoping she either left or took his offer. The wolf wasn't a great fighter and he knew it perfectly well, so if she attacked the best thing he could do is run for his life.
