Chasta Omega Appearance Race: Ethaefal Gender: Female Age: 3 (appears 22) Birthday: 27th day of Fall in year 511 Birthplace: Lhavit Appearance: Chasta usually is in her human form, her divine form taking over only at night when Leth's power waxes. Both forms are nearly identical however, other than the addition of beautiful horns at night. She is a slight young woman, appearing to be twenty two despite the fact that she was reborn to this world just over three years ago. She has the body of a runner, toned and fit but with slender muscles built for endurance and quickness over brute strength. She has tanned skin that is pretty dark from her time spent outside, but it hasn't become leathery or tough due to her treatment of it with skin lotion. Her blond hair is cropped short to keep it out of her face on deliveries, only a few inches long. Her legs are quite long and shapely for her height, though the rest of her lacks the more feminine curves. She is 5'3 and a great deal of that height seems to be made up of her legs. Her clothing typically consists of loose pants that fall to her knees before being tied tight, leaving her lower legs bare. The tan flesh there is crisscrossed by the leather straps that come up from her simple sandals and wrap around her legs, crossing several times. A tight cloth wrap around her chest is covered by a simple shirt with no sleeves, and her hands are covered by leather gloves that lack fingers. She has full lips and a delicate facial structure, but by far her most striking feature is her eyes. They are a light brown, and often seem bright enough to be almost copper. In divine form, her horns curl delicately backward from the sides of her head, ending with points down. Character Concept Chasta is an Ethaefal who was formerly a human female. She has recently fallen, and actually has taken it rather well. She believes that this must be the will of Leth, and so this new existence is her reward for a life of devotion, she simply needs to be able to see it. So she has devoted her life to trying to live happily as the human she usually appears to be, and helping those that she can when the opportunity arises. She doesn't preach about Leth anymore, wanting to keep her race a secret, and she keeps herself at home after dark. She is fearful that if anyone discovers what she is, they will expect more from her or treat her better or worse than a normal human deserves. If this was a reward, she needed to be able to live in peace. Character History Chasta Omega is a Leth loyal Ethaefal in this life, but she can remember a great many previous lives. Her most recent was a human female who was a priestess of Leth, which is the human form she takes on in the day. Before that, she was a female Eypharian and also a male Charoda. Her experiences as an Eypharian have made her a huge fan of high class life, the more sophisticated side of culture. Though she cannot afford the luxury of her previous life, she enjoys the few pleasures she can manage to earn enough for. Her Charoda past also has made her enjoy being around water a great deal, finding the sound of any water at all soothing and joyous. The Ethaefal incarnation of Chasta was born on the shore near Lhavit, crawling from the water in the dead of night. She hid as she took in her surroundings, finally venturing forth in daylight, in her human form. She was found by an elderly man who gave her a cloak to cover herself, and brought her home. She claimed to be the survivor of a shipwreck, her memories lost to her. He didn't question, and took her in and offered her food and shelter. She could not accept charity however, and so began running messages and packages for merchants, politicians and anyone else in the city who needed a courier. She quickly fell into her new line of work, loving the freedom and the exercise. Unfortunately, the old man who became a close friend of hers died a year after she arrived. He left everything to her, his own children lost in a shipwreck years before, his wife dead of old age. Chasta was touched, deciding that she would add is last name to the human name she used commonly. She considered her true name, one inspired by her deep seated beliefs, to be Chasta Omega after a constellation. She had experienced many things in her previous life, but one that had been quite close to her heart was coupling. Her various incarnations had varied between having many partners, a few partners, and a single lifelong partner. She had discovered that unimportant dalliances were pointless, and with her forced isolation at night, impractical. But she longed to recreate that loving bond she had as a Charoda, a lifelong relationship of utter devotion. It was why she named herself after the constellation called the Last Virgin. But many knew how Ethaefal were named, so she more frequently goes by Victoria Tam. Due to the strange schedule kept by the city, her need to be inside through the night is unusual. Whereas those around her take short periods of sleep several times a day, she sleeps until dawn to keep her nature hidden. Housing Location: The Solar Wind Apartments House: Chasta has seen little reason to change her furnishings since she inherited them, so they are pretty standard. A canopy bed with white, sheer curtains centers the room, the sheets and covers also white. a simple wooden desk sits to the side of the bed opposite the window. The hearth sits at the foot of the bed, and a couch against the wall opposite the desk. The window is high enough that the back of the couch ends below it. Pictures of the ocean, cliffs and other water sources are some of the few additions she made. A soft, rounded chair sits before the desk, but is often in front of the hearth as well.
