Appearance Race: Isur Gender: Male. Age: 100 Birthday: 30, Winter, 415. Birthplace: Sultros Appearance: Nethys is of the mightiest and largest breed of Isur, the Coglias clan. As such he is the peak of physical might of his race. Though perhaps average for a Coglias weighing in at 285 pounds, his bronze like tan hide glistening like all of his race. He keeps his head and face cleanly shaven, as do most with the trade of smithing. His eyes are also a pale emerald green, matching his mighty god granted arm. It was said by the priests when he was born that these eyes were a sign by Izurdin that he was to live a prosperous life. (If his hair did grow in it would be a very pale blonde). Character Concept Nethys dislikes lazy people. He enjoys the company of those who are tempered, like the steel he works with daily. He believes in worship of the god Izurdin through the only way he knows how, the forge... He particularly aspires to inventions of all kinds, finding great pleasure in attempting to create something that perhaps will change the vary way war will be conducted. Nethys goes against the grain of most other Coglias Isur though. He does not aspire to conflict nearly as much, nor does he go out of his way to body build or otherwise become more physically imposing. Believing instead that the sweat he pours into the forge daily is a sacrifice to his god that would go to waste doing simple exorcise, rather than something more constructive. This is not to say that he shys from conflict. He is a firm believer in fight before flight and will strike any man who dares to attack him or his friends. His god gave him a durable body to defend his beliefs, shirk away from his foes... Character History Nethys had a family that was very prominent within the Coglias clan, perhaps the entirety of Sultros. They were proud and strong, numbering many in the great army known as the "Hammer". His 3 elder brothers all fought proudly in the clan, and still do to this day. His father retiring after being one of the most senior members (though never having aspired to be a leader) His body was a testament to the glorious combat he often found himself in. That said Nethys lead a much more simple life. Having been somewhat abandoned in his fathers eyes as a man of no particular esteem. Though his skill in crafting was indeed great, his father valued this little over the might of his 3 brothers, all three of which often used there little brother as practice for wrestling and boxing. Though he took this in stride, enjoying the time spent with his brothers who meant no real harm in there "play". His mother was far more nurturing and saw to it that he had the finest education in the art of smithing possible. Apprenticing him with several different men in various arts to ensure he found the right job. While he worked for one of the many smiths employed by the hammer he found his true calling... Invention. This lost art was hard to learn even the tiniest bit of. But over time he managed to gain enough skill to make some small start. Before he eventually left Sultros altogether to learn more far and wide, he worked for many years under an average Blacksmith to gain easy income on his travels.
