Exhilaration.
The drizzle steadily turned into a downpour, and the drops of water that run down his face became streams that slowly washed away whatever remained of his frail humanity. Where once the Man would seek shelter, he eagerly pushed onward, exposing himself to the fury of the elements. The distant sound of thunder, along with the lashing wind above created a majestic symphony; it sang of how everything is cleansed and how the earth's thirst is sated. It was noon yet the sky kept darkening, contesting the sun's apex with the gray green hues that warned of the impending storm.

The Beast contentedly followed the wolf's lead. Thrilled by a rush of new sensations and the joy of the hunt made his heart soar and his breath uneven. His paws cautiously sank in fertile soil, crashing the bed of leaves and twigs; his feet tore through vines and ferns as they wandered off any known path. It was a few ticks later that he felt comfortable with this new posture and his steps became certain once more. The rain was a blessing; it covered the shambling sound of a creature that knew not how to move about. There was no need to try and stay silent, yet the occasional snapping of twigs reminded him that being a stranger there required caution. A myriad of new smells that found their way into his nostrils made his head lighter. Everything around him carried it's own scent and they all combined into an intoxicating mixture. The forest was alive, he couldn't help but notice. A life form made from a multitude of other organisms; their coexistence and co-dependence was as harmonious as anything could be. It reminded him of how wonderful life is. How well designed and precious the order behind all of it was.

They were not just wandering aimlessly. Civilization was far behind them and he guessed that the deeper they went, the better their chance for good prey would be. Redd's attitude seemed to change as she whiffed the ground. She'd obviously found something worthwhil and even he could not help but share the excitement that poured over her. He followed her dash at the best of his ability; his breath wheezing slightly as they run up a hill. He awkwardly managed to avoid the natural obstacles, pushing forward with all his might. His paws gripped firmly at the damp earth with every step, trying to avoid loosing his balance or slipping. He wasn't used to this kind of exercise but he was certain that the adrenaline would enable him to endure. His paws clenched and his newly formed feet sprung to bring him high enough to mantle over the huge log. Their short sprint came to an abrupt halt and he took a few needed breaths. She'd spotted something and he ducked next to her trying to detect their prey with his own eyes. Not used to this kind of sight, his eyes finally caught a glimpse of their intention. Amidst the dense undergrowth not too far from their vantage point, some kind of deer drank from one of the endless streams that run down the other side of the hill. He barely suppressed the cry of enthusiasm that reached his lips which thankfully was covered by the low yet loud crack of thunder. She lied down, and he assumed she was getting herself ready for the hunt.

It wasn't hard to guess that Daegron's inexperience would ruin the day in case they simply pursued their prey. Despite the obvious advantage that the wolf had, perhaps a bit of planning or strategy would make things easier. They had the higher ground which gave them a good look of their hunting ground. To their right, a shallow crevice that wasn't overflowing with water run down the hill. To their left, the slope was far steeper and led straight to the deer's hind side. In front of the animal, the thick bushes and ferns gave way to short grass. The plateau in front of them was densely populated with high trees but little undergrowth which would enable both them and their target to run at their full speed. A simple yet effective ambush was formed in his mind. He wouldn't be able to approach silently to where the ground was clearer and he wasn't fast enough to catch up to it once it's gallop started. On the other hand, she was far more at home in the wilds , and she definitely knew how to make a quick kill once she had the chance. She could silently go down that crevice and effectively remain out of sight. She would be able to flank the poor animal while himself would approach from the steep slope and make a lot of noise. The deer startled would run away and in the ensuing chase, Redd would be able to close the trap and take it down. The rainfall with it's noises and poor visibility would be their ally.

With a low huff he tried to grab her attention. As soon as he managed to take her eyes off their game, he pointed at the crevice and run his claw against the dirt, pointing a suggested path so she knew what he meant. He then clawed another curve on the ground starting from his feet and going around the deer's hind, which would be his path. He then made a circle in the center and pointed at the deer. He drew another line that suggested the deer's path of flight and an X where Redd's line and the deer's converged.

"Got it ?" he grunted, certain that she knew very well how to pull off such a trap. A grin was painted on his maw as he stared into her eyes.

It will engulf you and spit you out.
It will fester in your mind, disfigure your body and blacken your soul.

Then you'll truly be nothing...

Redd's tongue darted out to lick her muzzle, she could already imagine the taste of the hot blood upon her tongue as it bled out from the doe. It had been just over a season before she had been out hunting and that had been with Elias, her first master and even that hadn’t been much of one seeing as it had ended in an escaped slave that her master had her chase down to corner. Over-all it had been very much unsatisfying and ever since that fateful day, her master had simply become too busy for her and disappeared without a word. Her golden hues watched the doe as it drank, shaking its head every now and then. Due to having laid down and planted her head within her front paws, her gaze caught sight of the half back sun upon her left paw, which when shifted would be upon the back of her left hand. The tattoo was a clear sign that she was a slave, owned by the city of Ravok.

The wolf within would argue that she was owned by no one, that she served as a loyal being no matter the binds nor marks that her masters put on her. If she served a master, it was of her own free will. Slowly, she began to lick her front left leg, her tongue lashing over the blackened fur; that was until Daegron had caught her attention with a low huff. An ear flickered back in his direction, before she turned her head, her top lip pulled back in a silent warning. Her golden gaze quickly flickered back to the doe of which had risen its head, both ears dancing as if it had heard something. Finally, it seemed to settle and the doe lowered her head once again. She glanced back at Daegron, her gaze following the map that he had drawn out in the fertile earth underneath their paws. Honestly, she wasn’t exactly sure as to why he was drawing a map out in the dirt, but then it hit her, she wasn’t with a pack, which was why she had paused. Normally, she was behind, chasing the kill with snapping jaws while the beta took the killing blow. She was reminded just how much that she was not a part of a pack anymore, so she had to take the place of the beta.

Slowly, so not to make a sound, she lifted her form back up onto her paws, but remained in a crouched position as she began to make her way towards the right. Her every step was slow and filled with caution as she was very much aware that one wrong move and it would send the doe scattering and they would have one heck of a chase upon them. She lifted her paws over a rock that could make a noise if she wasn’t careful and she began to make her way down the shallow crevice, leaning her weight back upon her hind legs in order to make sure that she wouldn’t tumble down the side and fall into the crevice. However, with the rain that drizzled around them, wetting the ground, it almost made it impossible not to lose traction as she basically slid down the slope. Her paws slowly pressed into the water that trickled around her paws and she pressed her ears back against her head. This was not what she enjoyed, however, she had to save her strength for bounding back up the slope to tackle the doe and deliver the killing blow. She began to make her way through the crevice, no longer able to see the doe above, she would have to rely upon her hearing and the feel of the earth underneath her paws to indicate as to when she should leap up and tackle the beast.

Ferocity.
He cherished the thrilling sensation as he walked towards the steep slope. The doe was kept always in sight and his steps were slow and steady as he crossed a small stream, born of today's downpour. From their previous vantage point, everything looked far easier and closer than it really was. He couldn't afford carelessness right now; a wrong step and his balance would be lost. And should he fall, he'd slip and roll downhill and startle their target. His stomach growled with hunger and the thought of feasting on the poor animal's raw meat became a necessity. The transformation he'd made was slowly becoming more like a second nature. The predator's instincts were little by little joining his own.

He was forced to walk right through a gathering of thorny bushes with difficulty, trying to contain the growling curses that came as his skin was pierced and scratched. Yet there was no better way to reach the point where his descent would begin, so he gritted his teeth and pushed onward. He wasn't going to quit so soon and he knew that other than those minor but annoying lacerations, no real harm was done. Something slithered amidst his feet, and he stopped dead on his tracks as he saw some kind of snake making it's way between his feet. A series of small thorns punctured his calf, making him want to shout and get out of this petching shrub, but he wagered that it was far better than the serpent's fangs sinking into his flesh. It's poison would kill him an noone would help him out. Eventually, his grit prevaled and he made it through, mostly safe.

His paws sank in the mire giving him a solid footing and he looked down the slope. This descent required a lot of caution and he knew that before he'd start, heneeded to focus, lest the transformation was lost. So as not to loose any of the precious advantages this bestial form offered.

He took a long deep breath taking in the multitude of scents that overwhelmed him. As the drops of water run down his soaked figure he focused to himself and called his djed to stir. His chant was barely whispered under breath, inciting his energy to permeate his whole body. And from his core it moved, growing from a single seed of essence like a vine and spread all over his form following the Morpher's neural paths. And once this invocation was made he felt invigorated as the transformation was renewed; his natural form bent to his will and kept the desired shape, retaining those delicate magical connections and solidifying the structure. What was crafted on his flesh, was made again whole.

A few ticks after it was done, Daegron's mind was suddenly overcome with the strangest confusion. A throbbing nerve-shattering pain assaulted his temples and he was brought to his knees. A chain of questions rattled, creating a chasm between his mind and body. They cast the shadow of a doubt on his true nature, on his identity.
"What am I ? A man or Beast ? What drives me ? Hunger or Pride ? " HIs breath was uneven and sweat from his brow was mingled with rain. Time stood still for a moment while raindrops fell from his messy mane crashing on the bed of leaves under his paws. A flash of verigo, and then everything was clear. Doubt faded with a last thought:
"What is this that robs me of myself ?"

The Beast rose on his feet, certain and strong. His back was hunched and knees bent as he ducked to keep the center of his mass as low as possible. With slow steady steps the descent begun, snd bloodshot eyes stared at his prey. A vicious lust for blood and great hunger guided him. A craving to kill, to taste, to feast that he could not control. Little by little, determined and careful he traversed the slippery slope, adrenaline furiously pumped all over his body. The doe's head rose and looked at his direction. Did she know what was in store for her ? She got anxious, nervous and ready to run. The beast would not wait any more. As soon as the first ferns licked his knees his feet thundered on the solid ground and he dashed with all his might.

Naturally the deer was startled and understood the threat. It lept forward, galloping at full speed. Little did the poor animal know that it raced along a pre-determined route straight into it's death. Daegron's heart pounded and his lungs worked furiously to regulate his breath while he run through the dense foliage, crushing shrubs and ferns and vines in his passage. A flash of lightning almost blinded him and the loud thunder that accompanied it, signalled as if the sky was cracked open. The rain quickly got thicker, it's drops fell like nails that threatened to pierce his eyes, but still he huffed and growled with excitement and run as if it was the last sprint in his life. The doe was still too far, but fear was catching up with her and the muddy ground slowed her down. His claws gripped the earth and his feet ached as he pushed his form forward. Unused to such physical strain his whole body complained, but he the predator's instincts would not let go. His steps got larger and his chest almost burst but these things were not important now and would not weaken his resolve. He was determined to endure, to prevail. As he reared closer, he finally gave the signal to his partner. With all the strength he could muster he let out an angry growl.

The game was walking straight into the ambush. She'd finish the pursuit and close the trap's jaws. The kill was hers to make...

Redd made her slow way along the crevice, her claws lashed out to slice into the mud to give the wolf better traction, to make it harder for her to slip. However, if she applied too much weight in certain areas, even her claws could not stop her from slipping and toppling over. The water that gently streamed around her paws reminded her of the dream that she had a few nights ago, after the small riot in the temple and when she had been sleeping in a man’s room, the man that was known as Verin. The dream didn’t make any sense to her then and it continued to not make any sense now, even with her paws in water. Both of her ears flickered back as she lifted her paws high, before gently placing them back down within the small steam that had pooled in the small crevice that she was currently traversing down. The rain was beginning to soak down into her fur and she hoped that soon, soon Daegron would chase that doe forwards so then she could make a killing blow. She couldn’t exactly say the killing blow, because she might miss her target because of the slippery mud under their feet. Not too mention, that her ribs were giving her pain like she wouldn't believe, plus the loss of one might also mean that she would miss any signal given.

The rain continued to fall, making small ripples in the small stream that Redd found herself in, she was so tempted to shake out her fur, however she didn’t want to startle the doe and make her aware of her location, so she kept pressing forwards until she figured that she had reached an appropriate distance in front of the doe. The young wolf stopped in her movements and she lifted her front paw forwards so then she was ready to spring upwards if needed. She was at a slight disadvantage as well, seeing as she would have to dart up this small incline, before she could sink her teeth into the doe’s neck, she just hoped that… That line of thought stopped dead in its track as she suddenly heard a soft thumping noise in the mud and before she knew it Daegron was giving her the go ahead signal. She pushed forwards by shoving her hind legs back against the muddied ground, her body leaping forwards and almost slipping in the mud. Luckily for her, she had dug her claws into the mud so then she wouldn’t slip so much. She pushed herself into a forwards run, a run that was a bit of work seeing as she was also having to battle with the mud but she made it up, only to lunge towards their prey that had also been fighting the mud.

She thought that she would miss the chance to deliver the killing blow just as her paws slipped in the mud, but as luck would have it, the doe also seemed to slip just as it had attempted to do a leap over the top of her. The doe came crashing down and Redd lounged forwards, a snarl quick to rise as she suddenly sunk her sharp teeth into the neck of the beast. The moment that her teeth pierced the skin and sank into the neck, the doe grunted as its blood spurted out to coat her tongue. It was at that point when she shook her head violently, the doe still struggling against her hold, but Redd had now tasted blood and she was not letting this beast go. She bit down harder, a snarl rising from the back of her throat. Again, she bit and shook her head, a paw coming to rest upon the neck of the beast as she did so. Once the doe’s struggles had died down, Redd wasted no time in pulling her head back so then her teeth could tear the meat away from the now dead doe.

Dehumanized.
A loud crack of thunder accompanied the beast's growl. The she-wolf jumped out of her hiding place and the trap was closed. And the thrilling sensation of success, along with these unique instinctive joys that this bestial form had awakened, gave him another burst of strength and energy. He picked up the pace once more and raced to join Redd in the kill. His claws sank in the soft ground while his feet pushed forward, and he run with all his might. As the wolf grabbed that poor animal, he growled with joy. As the doe struggled for it's life, Redd shook her head violently and her teeth tore through flesh, aggravating the gaping wound.

A beautiful kind of murder was happening before his eyes. It was a fury he'd never witnessed before, a joy he'd never felt. A primal instinct, older than time itself grew inside him and took control, beckoning him to join. He plunged himself forward with hands outstretched and with a low snarl, his talons stabbed on the doe's sides. He pulled his hands to himself and the skin was ripped apart while red streams poured out and run to meet the earth. The animal fought in vain, shaking and trying to break free desperately clinging to it's last remnants of life, before it fluttered away at the jaws of two beasts. Unable to resist the hunger that overwhelmed him, he leaned in and sank his teeth on the tender loin.

Raw flesh never tasted so good. As blood poured down his throat and washed his chest, he welcomed the warmth and let himself loose. His hands tore furiously, driven by an intense desire to feed and feast. He pushed down as their prey laid to the ground and his short snout was plunged, spearing into her side. There he dug with his teeth, gnawing his way into the body that was still alive. He could feel the slow weak breaths, the fading erratic pulse that accompanied the final spasms. This was nothing like the wolf's simple feeding instinct, for he was a man deep inside him and such needs were suppressed by aeons of evolution. It was a primal atrocity, a horror that his magic had pulled out and brought to the surface; it had just claimed another portion of his sanity. For a few moments he was swimming in a lake of new-found ecstasy. One that was interrupted by the doe's last bit of resistance. It's hind legs sprung in a last kick that sent it's hoofs on the Morpher's chest, knocking him back. His breath cut short, he fell on his back with a grunt. With the same way that he was transformed into that terrible man-beast, the shape was undone; The strands of Djed that held the transformation going slowly dissipated and everything returned to it's normal form. Claws retreated back into his fingers, his hands and feet turned human once more, his back straightened and his visage shifted back to his normal ugly mug. In addition to the nominal discomfort that was the aftermath of his morphing, his whole body ached from the exertion. As Redd snarled and gnawed on flesh, nibbling on bones, he crawled backwards, pulled himself up to a sitting position and rested his back on a tree.

He kept grinning and watching as the Kelvic enjoyed her prize. It felt good to be free. He'd taken lives before, but this was something else. This was a moment to cherish, a precious victory; the rain would soon wash the blood away from him, but this memory would always remain...

In Redd’s opinion, it had be a worthwhile hunt, worthy enough to disobey the will of Verin, for the cooling blood of the kill coated her tongue and sweet fresh meat was filling her stomach. She didn’t know how the people of Ravok could live off of their simple diet, but Redd’s diet was much more simpler. All one had to do was give her a slab of raw meat and she was happy. Her teeth would tear through the delicious meat in no time as she gripped, ripped and chewed her way through the deer. Of course she would never be able to eat it all, but at least she could eat her fill. While her teeth may be sharp, she had to occasionally stop to chew through it or use a little bit of the muscles within the back of her neck to pull at the meat to make it rip from the dead carcass of the doe. The young wolf couldn’t care much for the rain that continued to fall down in and around her, for she took her anger out on this doe, imagining that it was Venser. Oh yes, she would kill Venser eventually, but when was the question.

She knew that she had to work upon her physical abilities to better the man, but the problem was getting out and about to practise. If she constantly had a collar around her neck, then there would be no way that she could ever get the practise that she needed to get. Or, maybe she could do what that man Hayl had done and hit a wooden pole with something sharp, over and over again. She just never thought that it was anything like hunting though, the better the hunter, the bigger the prey. And the sweeter they fall, she thought to herself as she imagined just how sweet that the man’s blood would taste. Finally after she had had her fill of the animal, she moved to sit back, her tongue lashing out to slide along her blood stained maw. Her right side did throb with the pain of her ribs, but there wasn’t much that she could do about it except to simply breathe through the pain… Whenever she did remember to breathe through it of course.

Slowly, her gaze shifted to her right so then she could peer out of her left eye in the direction of Daegron and she noted that he had lost the form that he had shifted into previously. The young wolf had heard something like a grunt at some point during her feeding, but she had been lost in the feeling of the feed, of the taste of blood while she fed upon the meat that the carcass of the doe had supplied her. A few more lashes of her tongue had her in thought as she briefly wondered as to why he had stopped eating, or why he had even shifted back to his human form. Slowly, she would move to stand before she made her slow way around the dead doe until she stood in front of the human male, her single golden eye peering into the green hues of the male. Oh how she missed having two eyes, it made things a lot easier upon her part, but now, she just had to overcome this injury somehow. Silently a pale red light surrounded the young wolf and by the time that it faded, a naked woman stood before the man and she would move to seat herself down beside the man. ”You alright?” She mostly asked because she didn’t feel like dragging his ass back to the city, only to have to answer a butt-load of questions from the guards. Plus, being that she was a slave, she would also probably be accused of attempted murder some-how.

OOCI'm glad that I could finally get this post out with the correct details!

Lust.
The kind of hunger that animals have, the kind of hunger that beasts feel, was sated both for him and for the she-wolf, who seemed to have her fill and thrill. His sinister gaze followed her every move, as she pulled herself away from their prey and took her human form. And truth be told, much as he admired her bestial nature, he could not deny the immense joy of her lithe figure walking towards him. Her pale skin contrasting the darkened skies as if having a glimmer of it's own. The blood that was slowly washed away, drop by drop, red and thick like that unruly mane that crowned her face. So fitting, indeed.

After the hunt was over, after the beast was satisfied, whatever scattered fragments of his humanity were left behind, tried to connect once more. And a different kind of yearning slowly seeped through. His breaths turned deeper and his emerald stare was locked on her, running along her body, scanning from head to toe. As she walked closer so did that yearning grow, threatening to swallow him whole in a maelstrom of vices. And most prominent of them, was lust.

He wanted her. Right now. He craved to touch her, to run his hands along her back, to grab her close, to relish the taste of her skin, to satisfy his passions that were already screaming, clawing wildly at his weary form, inciting him to reach out and take that trophy that stood before him.

"More than alright, Redd. This has been wonderful, truly ravishing... Worry not, this weariness is only temporary. I am more alive than ever !" His voice was deep and raspy and betrayed his purpose. His eyes were opened wide with delight, once she sat beside him, as if someone had tossed a treasure at his lap. But did she know ? Was she aware of all the things that he now had in mind, or was she oblivious to the thrills of carnal delight ? Was she able to feel lust, to get lost in those intoxicating moments that it could offer, or was she driven purely by her animal side ? He wagered that soon he'd find out.

His hand rose to brush along her brindled locks and caressed her shoulder, running a fingertip down her shoulder and arm. He shivered.
"But as in all delights, you can never have enough." he said and leaned closer turning to look straight at her. His hungry eyes spotted the heartbeat, evident in the throbbing vessels on her delicious neck...
"Where does one lust end and where does another begin ?" he asked, not really expecting an answer for he already knew.
"When are our cravings sated, our desired fed ?" he went on, certain that she already took the hint. The hand that casually rested on her shoulder run down her side. Her skin was warmer there, perhaps from an injury that wasn't healed yet. He didn't need to hurt her. Not yet. So he wrapped his arm around her waist, teasing her lower back.
"There never is an end, the circle goes on and we have no choice but to follow, grateful of the world of bliss that opens before us." His other hand run down her cheek, lingering on to the base of her neck. He was clearly overwhelmed.

"I need to know, what is your desire ?" He was fairly certain that he'd sufficiently conveyed his own. His hand moved swiftly and was wrapped around her head as he leaned even closer grasping her tightly, where he could feel her breath. Before she could express the feelings that overwhelmed her, be it want or despise he spoke again, his words short and sharp.
"Unlike the men you've met who claim to be your masters, I do not make demands of submission." His grip relaxed enough to give her some space. Just a little bit, to assure her that she'd be safe.

"Instead, I offer indulgence..."
And with that, words became redundant, so he hungrily leaned in to take a deep kiss from her luscious lips, his arms wrapped around her lean form. He cared not whether she approved or not, whether she understood or not, whether she liked it or not. He just reached and grabbed the prize; his black heart's deepest desire, the strongest of his vices.

Within, there was a part of him that wanted her to resist...

Confusion had coloured Redd’s thoughts while his hand lifted to brush along her brindled red locks and down along her shoulder. For she had been thinking of a nap as most wolves did, because after a good feed, the wolf would curl up and sleep for a while, quite sated with their appetite. However, this man, was not a wolf, this she knew for his actions spoke otherwise. Even his words indicated that he suddenly wanted something from her. Her hazel hue flickered up to view the man’s face for a moment, noting the hunger within his eyes. It wasn’t a hunger for food, this she knew for the man had just eaten some of the doe that was mostly cooling as they spoke. Well, he spoke more than she did, for she was too busy realizing just what kind of situation that she was suddenly in... Again. She felt his hand rest upon her neck and it was then that she was beginning to see an event blur into this one. She was beginning to see a bit of Venser within the man that was now before her and she knew just exactly what he was asking from her, for it was the same thing that Venser took from her.

He needed to know her desire? She silently asked herself before she felt his hand leave her neck to wrap around the back of her head and leaned in close to her pulling her form into him. She angled her head to the side, if she could and a low growl of warning bubbled to her lips. She wasn’t going to allow him to take what he wanted; she wouldn’t allow this man to take what didn’t belong to him. However, she realized that she didn’t know what this man could do and she wasn’t sure if he could do what Venser did, but she knew she just had to resist. He wasn’t her alpha and therefore did not have rights to her. In fact, Redd didn’t think that she had an alpha at all, Verin would be the closest to owning the title of being her alpha… If he could handle her and demand her submission. A slow smirk flittered across her lips then as she realized that this man wouldn’t demand her submission, but offered indulgence. Her masters hadn’t really demanded anything from her physically. Elias had only once, demanded that she call him master while having her pinned to a desk, but that was all. Venser had been the only man to demand and force her to physically bend to his will, taking what he wanted from her without her permission.

His lips descended down upon hers and his arms wrapped more securely around her form, but her hands lifted to press against his chest. She didn’t understand why he wanted this from her, why he lusted for her, much like how Venser had done, but she wasn’t about to allow this to happen. If she could help it, she would resist and a snarl rose to her lips as she yanked her head to the side, pulling her lips from his as her hands pushed against the man’s chest in an attempt to push him away. Her single hazel hue glared at the man and her breath rushed into her lungs as her top lip pulled upwards to reveal her slightly elongated canines. ”No, you are not my alpha and therefore do not have the right to demand nor ask this of me.” The palms that were pressed to his chest continued to push against his form, the muscles within her arms, what little that she had, bunched up and strained with the effort of attempting to hold him back. ”No,” she growled for a final time, warning him. Next time, she would bite him.

Defiance.
IT was so sweet. The hands that pushed against him were like wood supplying the fire of lust raging inside him. Snarls and growls fed him and made the vice-grip that was his arms even stronger. She was weak and powerless before his all-engulfing might. She would be crushed. As lust changed to an irrational kind of hunger, as atrocity poured out of his blackened soul he realized that his mouth was human no more; that in that kiss he was to grab from her he'd taste more than the pleasure of the act. He'd taste her flesh and blood. Carnal desires were transmuted into a desire for carnage and the deed itself would have a bloody aftermath. Mere moments before his fangs tore her lips he stopped.

This wasn't a craving for pleasure. It was something sick and twisted and it had to stop, lest her life was claimed; lest his will succumb to something that kept attempting to steal his own humanity. His eyes opened wide as he recalled the intrusion of a terrible entity in his own body, and he shuddered at the thought of being separated and torn once more. His Djed, still in motion curled upon his maw and forced it to shift back to it's natural state. These few moments of confusion were enough for Redd to push him back and escape his lethal embrace. Hopefully she'd never know what could have happened.

It took him a few moments to gather his wits. He needed to keep his dominant stance, so he forced that sinister grin upon his face once more. She needn't know what kind of a terror he could become. Still his eyes were locked on her pale figure, ravenously enjoying the sight of raindrops as they run along her soft skin, leaving behind small wet trails. It demanded from him all the effort he could muster to turn his stare back into her eyes. He finally spoke

"That's quite odd. You are eager to run wild, yet at the same time eager to offer yourself as a morsel. This a very twisted sense of loyalty there. How can you crave the true freedom of the wild yet at the same time readily succumb your will to the appropriate figure of authority ?" The Kelvic seemed confused, but rightfully so. As Daegron could not hope to understand how a pack works, so she wasn't really obliged to know how a complex thing as society works. He often found himself wondering about it.

"Loyalty is not owed to no one. Loyalty is offered because someone has gained it. Why does it look to me that slavery isn't very different from your life in a pack ? Ever considered the similarities ?" He went on, ignoring the fact that perhaps she didn't need a lecture right now.

"You see, in the pack, and correct me if I am wrong, the Alpha is superior in all aspects. There is no loyalty there, just a forced acceptance of the fact that he can impose his will by force, and will do so at any given chance. The only way to refuse his rule is to take his place." He hoped that he'd grasped the whole concept of the pack.

" But in this society you were forced to enter, things don't always work like that. There are many ways for one to prove his worth. There are many ways to tip the balance of things. There are many ways to true freedom. TRUE ! Unlike that false impression you have for it."

The Art will twist you and turn you.
It will break you and tear you asunder; from your scattered remains it will shape you.
It will engulf you and spit you out.
It will fester in your mind, disfigure your body and blacken your soul.
And so on and so forth, through an endless chain of transformations till the time comes and you are everything...
Then you'll truly be nothing...

Redd felt the man’s hands tightened around her form, but then a sudden confusion over-took him and she pushed back against him some more, her form suddenly free from his grasp. She pushed down upon her legs to help her form push back away from the man before the young wolf finally managed to stand. Her left hand lifted, only to wrap around her belly, so then the palm of her hand could press against her right side. Pain throbbed there, but it wasn’t too bad and so her hand fell down to her side, a breath escaping her lips. Her single hazel hue watched the man as he seemed to gain control over himself, the muzzle that had formed seemed to disappear. Her nostrils flared for a moment as she tried to understand his current mood, especially when those lips took on a sinister grin. She could never understand just as to what was going on within that man’s mind. However, he then began to speak and a furious growl turned her lips downwards as she took a few paces away from the man. She could just leave him, leave him to his theories that had nothing but wind behind them. However, the wolf within her wanted to teach the man a lesson. She wasn’t strong enough yet to take him on in a fight, so she would just have to return his words.

Ugh! Humans and their word games! She groused, as she turned to face the man, taking a couple of steps back towards him, but she made sure to stay out of arms reach. She should just turn and leave, every nerve within her body wanted to do just that, but something else told her to stay. ”What would you know about being a part of a pack? You’re just human, but now that you have hunted with an actual wolf, you think you know everything. You humans always do, you always think that you know everything.” Her single hue glared at him before she turned away, a frustrated hand tugged through her brindled red locks. Humans would never understand, she realized just as she began to talk once again. ”An alpha is an alpha because he is the strongest of the pack, he can better protect and lead the pack then the rest. She forced air out of her lungs before she drew in another breath. ”Besides, a wolf is free to leave if they are unhappy with the pack. Humans brand and collar their slaves. A wolf within a pack, has more freedom than a human slave.”

But is he so wrong in assuming that she craved the freedom of the wilds but easily obeyed the will of her human master? No, he wasn’t which puzzled her. It had always been a fact that puzzled her and a shake of her head was given. She didn’t understand as to why she did obey the will of her masters so easily, it didn’t make any sense for she was used to testing them to prove them worthy of her submission. Slowly, the woman turned around so then she could view the man once more a frown creased her forehead. True freedom? How could she possible tip the balance in her favour? Everyone was well more versed in the human culture then she, it was something that the young wolf struggled with every day. She angled her head to the right, indicating that she was at least willing to listen to the man so long as he didn’t come closer to her. ”I don’t see how there is such things as true freedom, we are all tied down by something.” She took one more step forward, her single hue taking in the man’s form, making sure that he wasn’t going to take a threatening step towards her. ”What is this true freedom that you speak of?”
