AppearanceRace: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Birthday: Season of Fall, Day 89, 492 AV
Birthplace: Ravok
Appearance: Eveline's height is average, around 5'8", though the way she sometimes carries herself tricks people into believing she's shorter. Her pale skin is peppered with freckles, all the way from her small forehead down to her toes. Her auburn hair is long and wavy, with a few natural highlights. Her eyes are a dark grey, set above a slight nose and rosy lips. Despite her beauty, people can't help but get a feeling of wrongness about her. Her stare is too steady, and her smile can be unsettling.
Character ConceptThere’s something off about Eveline. She knows this, knows that she’s not quite right. She can mimic emotions suitably well for others, she knows when to smile and when to appear like she cares. But deep down, she realizes that she’s not truly feeling these emotions, or she’s not feeling them the way she should be.
It takes a very observant eye to discover Eveline’s mimicry. She knows how she’s expected to react to situations, as she’s been working on “fitting in” since she was old enough to understand her lack of feelings. Those who first meet Eveline might find her charming and charismatic. However, if they find her in a dangerous situation, they will note that she doesn’t react with fear, but instead a sort of excitement.
Those who are aware of Eveline’s mimicry might find it odd that she cares for anyone or anything. She can become dangerous when her little brother, Nicholas, is upset, threatened, or in a situation that is not safe. She also treats Kelvics with what she equates to sympathy, but could be construed as condescending by others. They’re animals, in her eyes, and she’s noted how others treat them worse than pets. She doesn’t care about any other race the same way, though she doesn’t treat any outsider with the same bigotry as others in Ravok. If they are potential assets, then she doesn’t care what they look like.
Eveline worships Rhysol, as it is something that allows her to blend in. Her faith is obviously in question, as it’s something she’s not truly capable of, but she’s able to mask her bargaining as faith when others ask. Her bargaining basically is a series of demands. If Rhysol promises her or her family certain securities or blessings, her actions will be in his name. She still doesn’t trust that he has upheld his end of the bargain, but it’s better to keep up appearances than exposing one’s lack of faith.
