Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

The coyote's stern warning barks --though he didn't know why really, why was he warning?-- turned to a yip of delight when the woman-one took his paws --hands-- and started to dance. He wiggled so much in joy that he nearly lost his feet and went swinging around in her grasp. The coyote was laughing, though no noise came out, mouth hanging open in a large drunken grin.

Even better was when he noticed a nearby man and, and... and it didn't make sense at first how the man was holding out his hand and saying something like come here. But then with another turn it did make sense. The man, he wanted to dance too!

Gleefully the coyote bounced and swung again, feet slipping once more on the slippery stickery floor, and danced the woman-one along so they'd stumble into the blue man who was going to join. The woman made a howl of her happiness --"Weee!!!"-- and so the coyote let out his own, then spun on his buzzing feets and twisted from the woman's grasp.

Not to stop dancing, though, never to stop dancing. Instead he bopped and staggered around the pair of the friend-ones, woman and blue man, still howling and yipping because he felt like it. Tail wagging into a blur --tail, no tail?-- and the rest of the room was a blur too, the coyote pirouetted and then looked for Timothy because Timothy would dance! Everyone would dance!

Only... there was no boy sitting over nearby. Why did no boy feel like something bad, when everything else was good and warm and so fuzzy-sloshy-blurry? No boy was... meant Timothy was gone and that wasn't fun. But in his confusion the coyote couldn't figure out how the boy could have gone, where, or why. How was it that he had left when it was right in the middle of things? That wasn't... wasn't right, was it? That wasn't.

Maybe he had found another fun thing? The coyote rolled his head and looked for Timothy, but didn't see him. Too... too short. His howl turned into a whimper of frustration; when had this form gotten so so small? Human-form was supposed to have human hands and feet and no tail and clothes-fitting and tall. He wished to be big and human-right.

In the middle of his jig, the coyote flashed and glimmered and became man once again. He looked down at his hands in confusion, then shook his head. Timothy, now. He could look for Timothy.

There! Over there. It looked like the boy had found some new-friend guys, and they were all going out towards the door! Kyo thought they must have something special to do if it meant being away from here. Maybe a place with even more fire-water and talking and dancing? Pleased at this new place to go, the young man turned, linked his arms through the woman's and the new-dance Akalak-one's, and started trying to drag and spin and whirl them towards the door.

OOCSorry about the delay! I've been a bit under the weather these past few days.

[Rat Hole] Bad Habits

Dancing was so much fun, and the coyote seemed to agree. It was a feeling of pure bliss and happyness, mixed with confusion and lingering shock. They danced and spun, barely able to keep each other from falling onto the ale and mud soaked floor. They spun unhindered for at least ten for fifteen full rotations, the coyote controlling the direction in which they meandered through the crowd of people. Suddenly they came to a stop, as they blundered into a large Akalak, very nearly running him over.

"S- shorry!" she yelped as she jabbed him in the chest with her shoulder, before righting herself. Her balance was now complete shot, and her head swimming. She looked down at her hands, surprised to see them not longer holding the paws of the coyote. Aww... That was so much fun! Why'd he leave?? Zephari searched around for him, but was then blinded by a flash of light. Dazed and confused, she had to lean over for a few seconds to let her vision recover. Now where the coyote once was sitting, a young man now stood.

Rubbing her eyes, the benshira shook her head, not believing what she had just seen. I should really consider stopping this.... Nah! Deciding that she didn't care as everything had been weird and freaky today, she ignored the magical spectacle that had just occurred.

Turning away from the man, she stumbled around a little, looking for the boy, who was the reason for her coming over to the bar in the first place. Wear is he? He must be around here somewhere... Little munchkin must have run off to get more to drink!. After searching for what seemed like hours, but was really only a few seconds, her arm was then suddenly grabbed by the flash man.

"Wha? Were did you come from!" she asked, laughing as she nearly fell over from the grab. Her head lolled around for a moment, eventually ending up facing the door. The boy was being walked outside by two large men, both seeming slightly too happy about it. I've got a bad feeling bout this... Maybe I should drink more! As Zephari is dragged toward the door, she stumbled and almost knocked over the young man holding her arm. Eventually able to stand 'straight' again, she stumbled with the flash man towards the door, and the two men escorting the boy out of the bar.

"So wear we going now buddy!?"

PLEASE READCan I just note how insane this entire thread is! I wish this type on stuff would happen when I actually get drunk! Well maybe not the obvious slavers, but dancing with a shape shifter and a drunk 12 year old.... Wait never mind I'll stop talking.... I need a drink after this nonsense...
