Aimèe Fabron

Postby Aimee Fabron on September 14th, 2015, 1:52 am

Aimèe Fabron is a young woman of few faces, all bearing multiple motivations. At a glance, one would not expect the soft faced and petite young woman to be a bearer of deceiving traits, but Fabron remains. There are a handful of major features that define the woman. Those being her hair, eyes, mouth, and the way she dresses. There’s a certain amount of care that goes into keeping each of those aspects sharpened and polished to give her a subtle air of innocence with undertones of kindness, compassion, empathy, and justness.

Fabron’s hair is a wavy texture with a color hinting towards the bark of a tree, shell of a chestnut, or the hull of a seafaring ship. Depending on the lighting, it would appear as any shade of those ultimately brown colors. Fabron is rather meticulous when it comes to her hair; often brushing it until it shines or doing anything to keep it from appearing flat, unappealing, or lazy. This behavior was instilled in her by her mother who did her best to keep up appearances.

Eyes are often seen as the window to the soul, so when one peers into Fabron’s they often see a once shining light gone dull. With the death of her mother, and the following death of her father, any light that she had once possessed faded slowly as she had to bury them, sell their belongings, and move from the cottage she called home due to the memories that haunted her. Her eyes are the color of honey exposed to the sun too long, making them darker yet retaining the shining sweetness when glinted by the sun’s rays. Her eyes are concealed behind long lashes.

A true tool of her craft, her mouth, possesses soft lips and a brilliant smile behind it. It is her main weapon, aside from the dagger she carries. The tongue behind it is training to become as sharp as the blade of her dagger while retaining the grace and elegance of a ballroom dance. Smirks, smiles, frowns, pouts, and sarcasm dance across her lips and other features of her face.

Fabron’s motivations reflect in the way she dresses. Her fashion taste is a mix of comfort, flexibility, and defense. Depending on the season, one will see Fabron is a variety of different clothing. In the spring season, as the chill of winter shakes off and the sun begins to warm the world, she’ll be seen in light dresses, stockings, and sashes tied around her waist that persist into the summer season. The occasional headband will make its appearance as well. In summer the dresses remain the same, but cotton tunics, slippers, boots, and simple pants come out to join the fray. In the fall months are when the dresses are starting to be put away, but they remain through the earliness of the season, only being retired after the first true cold draft that makes its way towards her. The dresses are replaced by tunics, cloaks, pants, scarves, and boots. Winter forces the fall wardrobe to remain until the coming of spring.

Fabron is a forlorn individual. She was made this way due to losing both of her parents to the fates of the cruel world she lives in, Mizahar. The darkness within her, the very darkness that once birthed her anger, hate, and hotheadedness, now simmers thickly with the thoughts of her parents and past. It’s been hard for her to move on from their deaths; she witnessed her father taking his last breaths, and she remembers seeing her mother off to sea on another voyage she was supposed to return from. Her mother never did return, even after her father’s death, thus her hope began to fade.

After learning of Leth from a man devout to the deity of the moon, Fabron has turned her life around. The forlorn within her wasn’t as easily shaken as the other intense, hot emotions of constant, but it glimmers dully underneath the new hope she feels. Her future is uncertain, and she knows that, but also knows that hope can do wonders for the soul.

That hope leads to a sense of determination. She does not want to sink back down into the volatile depression she faced after her father’s death; she is determinedly set against it. Instead she strives to reattain the happiness and joy she possessed during her childhood, the light that graced her before the dark times. This determination is found in her ability to stick her mind to goals, big or small, and follow the steps she believes necessary to accomplish them. Goals motivate her to continue on, therefore she always has them set.

Setting goals makes Fabron curious as well. If the same goals are set over and over, with no alterations, she’s afraid she’ll find herself slipping again. The darkness within her has not been fully quelled, simply maintained by her striving to better herself. To better herself she believes she must continually discover new interests, to push the envelope of her own, and to live outside of her comfort zone without being malicious in her endeavors.

Maliciousness does not come easy to her in any case. Fabron is a compassionate and kind individual, her cool exterior radiating with the warmth held within. She makes it a point to be amiable towards others, believing the graciousness she bestows unto others will prevent darkness within them as well. That said, she is rather quiet in her gestures. Not one to draw attention to herself, she attempts to act with subtlety. Attention was what caused her to dive so deeply into the sinful pleasures that Zeltiva harbored within its streets. Wanting to avoid aspects that were cause for her slippage, she is thoughtful about what she does. Kind, considerate, quiet; that is Fabron.

Going on, Fabron could not have gone so readily into the wilds of Zeltiva’s streets without being untame in her own regard. Deep down she is an immensely loyal being to those that can chisel past her outer wall and make their way to the warm, cozy center beneath. One could say she is loyal to the point of extremism, fiercely protective (but not jealous) of her cherished people because they are far and few.

Pantheon|

Leth|

What one would call Fabron’s patron deity, Leth is who she more acutely associates herself with. Her deity is that of the moon, thus promotes change within the world. Fabron finds comfort in knowing her own life was not too unlike Leth’s own: the tragic begins, the wildness of behavior, all of it simmering down and lighting up into an emanating change of the better. She has not found the Syna to her Leth, but feels as if that person will come in time as she continues to change for the better.

Priskil|

Fabron’s newfound hope attuned itself with the Priskil’s domain and personality. In her change, Fabron hopes to be something of a guiding light for others, someone to look to when darkness threatens to grab ahold of them. She knows that she is still facing her own demons, but understands hope is a powerful thing in its own regard. In hope she finds patience and kindness.

Eyris|

Because she searches to expands her horizons and push herself out of her comfort zone, Fabron understands knowledge, and eventual wisdom, comes from this want. She looks to Eyris to guide her new absorption of knowledge and hopes that, in conjunction with Leth, Eyris will lead her down a path of gradual enlightenment.

Fabron was born in 496 AV to a doctor and a ship captain in Zeltiva. Fabron’s father, Aldric Robert Fabron, was a small time doctor in the coastal city. On a fateful day a ship captain came into his clinic with a terrible bout of sickness that needed to be seen to immediately. That sea captain was Fabron’s mother, Janessa Minett. Her sickness was so severe her fate was left up in the air. Anything that Aldric did to cure her didn’t take root and, quickly, he was running out of ideas. One of his assistants, a student at the University of Zeltiva, stumbled upon another treatment. Desperate, Aldric tried the treatment in a last ditch effort to save Janessa’s life. Thankfully, it worked and she started on the slow road to recovery.

Aldric personally oversaw Janessa’s recovery which took several weeks. In that time, they developed a bond that would eventually lead to the relationship Fabron was birthed from. Before her birth, however, Janessa lost her position as captain due to her sickness, leaving her stranded in Zeltiva with Aldric while her crew continued onto other jobs. Imports coming in Zeltiva could not cease simply because the captain was unfit to sail. Janessa, a woman of the sea, was heartbroken over the loss of her ship and crew. She looked to Aldric for comfort, and in him comfort was found. Love was found in him as well.

Never married but sharing passionate nights and days, Fabron was born to the pair. For a time, it appeared that Janessa would forgo her seafaring roots and settle down with Aldric. She did not, instead she chose to retake the mantle of captain when Fabron was fourteen years old. It was a simple supply run to one of the various Zeltivan colonies dotting the coasts. A few days after Janessa set off a terrible storm slammed the city. In the following weeks, when Janessa was expected to return, she did not.

Sorrow stricken, both Fabron and her father continued about their lives in a quiet way. During the end of her fourteenth year of life Fabron became an assistant to her father. She learned the ways of medicine from him and was an aspiring doctor in her own regard. Her education continued and became mixed with the liberal disciplines of artistic endeavors. Whenever she wasn’t in the clinic with her father Fabron was dabbling in art and prose, sharpening her intellect and charisma and setting herself on a path of renaissance.

That enlightened period came to an end when she was sixteen years old; her father fell ill under the weight of both stress and depression. For a long while he had been harboring his intense yearning for his love, Janessa, to return. When she didn’t show any signs of returning he slipped deeper and deeper into his darkness, thus slipping farther from Fabron until he was but a ghost of himself. Fabron’s love for her father did not waver in this time. She stood by his side all the way up until his sickness, where she cared for him along with the other doctor’s assistances and less experienced doctors at the time. Sadly, despite all treatments, Aldric lost the will to live and slipped into Dira’s arms.

Fabron’s sadness grew to terrible heights. Instead of growing into depression, however, she turned to vengefulness and hatred. Her anger was pointed at the deities whose domains resided within mortal life: Dira, Leth, and Kihala. She loathed them and turned to the domain of Nikali for a time. The rage and anger within her subsided upon her heeding the words of a man devout to Leth. He informed her about the deity and took her under his wing for a year’s time. Weeks before turning nineteen, she decided it time to forsake her weighted roots in Zeltiva. In search of betterment of herself, and closeness to Leth, she bought passage from Zeltiva using the coin inherited from her father.

She sailed for Lhavit with her family’s dog, Lune, in tow. Sometime during her life she recalled her mother talking about her life before she met Aldric. That life included another man and another daughter, a sister to Fabron. Fabron was unsure if she would ever meet her rumored sister but hoped that the sparkling city of knowledge would hold all the answers she sought.

Aside from the family dog, Fabron also took her father’s journal. The old journal held most, if not all, Aldric’s notes pertaining to herbs, potions, treatments, and recipes. The journal is one of Fabron’s few sacred items and she carries it within her satchel at all times. One never knows when they will need to confer the journal given that her education was stunted with her father’s untimely sickness and death.
