Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

Why is it children feel the need to be so defiant?

Late at night when good children sleep there was one in the Isur smithy who did not, an oddity among her hardworking brethren. Waiting for the silence that says that the days work is done and it's time to rest. Feigning sleep the child waits for dull rumble of snoring to cover her escape. Tip toeing her way out of the smithy she called home the girl creeps out of her home to again get a fresh breath of air like she has so many times before. Kry had stopped feeling guilt for disobeying her parents, the fact that she would never be the heir they wanted had ceased to bother her. In fact Kry had found nothing but relief since she had decided to not spend each day trying to live up to the expectations of others. Stepping out of the smith's domain Kry took in a breath of the crisp fall air relishing in it's flavor and freshness.

With that, the girl began walking through the streets cloaked in dusk, her fear of darkness broken ago by the city. The girl had no real goal when she crept from her home only seeking the freedom of the outdoors. The fact that the city's terrain shifted as was it's want only further proved the point, the buildings themselves had as much desire to be tied down as Kry did. One foot after the other the girl slowly walked to the dark city, trusting it to guide her home by it's own devices come dawn. The dark streets welcomed the girl with open arms, though of whether the gesture was serene or sinister, one could never be sure.

Walking deeper into the shadows maw the girl walked through shadowed alleys where lanterns flickered angrily at being disturbed. Kry wasn't sure when she began to feel it but at some point, the sensation of being watched, Kry couldn't pin it down but the sensation was certainly there, like a prickling at the back of your neck or a electric current running through your heart. Coming to a stop beneath a lone flickering lantern the girl turned about and peered into the darkness. Had the cities unstable fever addled her mind with paranoia? Or was something else out and about in the darkness?

13-FALL-15

Warwick drifted slowly along the ever-changing streets, dead eyes not truly seeing anything in front of him. He never stumbled, never strayed, just floated lifelessly along. His mind was in a far away time, and the present held no allure to him. In fact, he remembered the streets as they were when he was alive, though they were still changing and twisting. He glided through a small hedge that happened to be in his way and didn't even register that he had.

As he floated, a nagging feeling jerked at his mind. The incessant feeling was something that Warwick had grown used to, but it still persisted, always coming to the forefront of his consciousness. He needed to find her. Needed to find her. NEEDED TO FIND HER.

It was too much for the ghost. Without thinking, he jerked himself sideways, moving right through a stone wall as if it were nothing more than the night air. As he emerged on the other side, he was in a darkened patch in a long alley, and at the end, under a lantern, was a little girl. From the distance, Warwick couldn't necessarily distinguish many features, but she was young. And blonde. Immediately, the nagging grew. It overtook the ghost, and before he knew what he was doing, the ghost was blinking ahead a few feet. His version of running. He closed the gap quickly, and before the little girl could protest or even register what was going on, Warwick leaped into the little girl, trying to wrest control from her.

The girl that Warwick sought was dead, but he didn't know that. He had spent ninety-nine years strengthening his will so that he could possess her when he met her, to communicate with her and tell her he was sorry. That's all he thought about. All he knew. So with practised control, he shoved powerful tendrils of will at the little girl's mind, trying his hardest to break through her defenses. He knew she wouldn't give in and let him in, so he prepared.

He would possess her. He would apologise. He would be set free.
