The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

[Surya Plaza] A Night on the Town (Open)

Lhavit was a city that came alive at night.

The crystalline structures that the city were made up of were beautiful and intricate in the sunlight, but they truly showed their beauty as the sun dipped behind the mountains, giving reign of the sky to the moon and the stars that shone down with a silvery glow. And, like magic, the city seemed to look up at the skies and light up in joy, sharing that soft, welcoming glow with the darkening sky. They complimented each other, creating a fascinating beacon that reflected off the towering mountains that surrounded and made up the city.

And like clockwork, the people began to emerge as the glow grew stronger and stronger, eyes bright and alive like no other time of the day. The markets became filled with people of all ages; old men with balding heads, chattering over some exotic pottery, children scrambling underfoot, laughing and wailing about a world that only their tiny imaginations could fathom. The hum that rose from a thousand talking voices, the ebb and flow of the crowds like an ocean and melting pot of similarities and differences.

Surya Plaza was one of the largest gathering places in the entire city, a mix and match of foreigners and tourists struggling to follow the tides of the city, and the locals and regulars, simply going about their daily business. Shops and restaurants and inns were all squashed together in a sort of ordered chaos. Shopkeepers shouted for customers, promising bargains and rarities. Gaggles of friends and romantic partners made their way to their destinations, giggling and play arguing. Music played, though it was drowned out by the constant buzzing of the people. The seemingly neverending crowds upon crowds of people.

Women carrying baskets of food, preparing for a feast or maybe just dinner for a large brood. Men sitting together at outdoor tables, cracking jokes and clinking together glasses of ale. Unusual travellers, hiding their oddities with cloaks, so obviously out of place. Shinya guards, standing watchfully at checkpoints or threading their way through the people, eyes watchful for troublemakers and pickpockets. Every one of them just a small part of an overall whole.

Pander knew that this was going to be a place where she would be entertained for a long, long time.

The tiny Pycon sat far out of the way of the people; she, in fact, was gracing an inn's rooftop with her presence. Sitting back on her hind legs, she had her tail wrapped securely around her body so that she wouldn't trip while she was navigating across the rooftops. While she had some talent in acrobatics, she had never exactly been fleet of foot, and she didn't want to leave herself at risk. So she sat, watching over the people below. She wondered if anyone noticed her, and if they did, if they dismissed her as just a stray feline, all haughty and high up. It wouldn't have been the first time that such a thing had happened, and the thought had always amused her.

For several nights now, she had watched the people, almost desperate to leap down and join them but at the same time rooted in place by her fascination of the night life of. She also had to admit that she was a little wary of being stepped on, as well; reforming a squashed limb or her gods be damned ridiculous tail was always a hassle.

Still, she was eager for some excitement, almost to the point of starting it herself. She was jiggling with impatience and boredom. Tonight would be the night that she found someone interesting to talk to or play with, or she would just have to bite someone's ankle and see what happened.
