Shyntii jumped over a fallen log while running to her home. She couldn't help the excited bubbling in her stomach. Or how her brain couldn't think of anything more then her Kyri. Ten days. It had been ten days that she had left her Kyri. Her jog quickened as she felt herself get closer. Shyntii had been walking for days trying to get back here. when she first awoke from her slumber she was more then tired. she could barely move. but as she noticed how close she was she instantly found her strength. She felt kyri close by. It wouldn't be a week now, or even a day or a few hours. It would be minutes.
And she ran. As fast as her short legs could carry her she ran. She didn't stop to pay attention to the scenery either. Oh how she missed these mountains. She stopped for a moment to catch her breath and look around. the tree's were bigger then she remembered and she could see up and up wind eagles. Her heart thudded at the possibility that one of them could be her Kyri.
She missed this. She missed her peoples fiery hair and strong attitudes. She missed the birds, the riding, and most of all her Kyri.
