Physical Description
Laoi is small by the standards of other races, standing at only 5’2 after her last growth spurt, but she’s fairly average in the eyes of other Konti. Her physique is light and childish.
She’s fair-skinned with creamy blonde hair gently curled by the cool breeze coming off of the sparkling surface of Silver Lake. Her eyes are darker than most of the Konti and stand out against her pallid complexion. Some might think of her as beautiful, in a free-spirited, simple, child-like way.

Character Concept
She’s a light-hearted individual, lost in fanciful thinking or vague curiosity. However childish she might appear, she’s passionate. She has a love for people and takes a neutral position, helping strangers as best she can, regardless of factions. Avalis has given her a natural insight into people and how to best mend their injuries and illnesses, making Laoi a gifted healer.
She is frequently exploring and knows The White Isle like the back of her hand. She loves exploring and seeing new sights and meeting new people, though she’ll explain away any wanderlust by claiming she’s searching for new herbs to study their medicinal properties. Anything foreign fascinates her.
She loves the arts of drawing and calligraphy after observing the older Konti women fussing over pens and inks. She’d often gather uniquely-colored plants and crush them into dyes for anyone who needed them. After the local artists knew her well enough, they’d allow her to watch them mark their beautiful curves and lines onto paper. Skilled glassblowers captivate her as well. She spent long hours in the workshops, her eyes glittering like the glass as the women blew it artfully into windows and globes.
Character History
Her history seldom differs from her present-day person. As a child, she was much the same as she is now. Insatiably curious, she would often lean over local healers’ shoulders, querying about everything they used. She was always exploring. Her knowledge of all herb sites on the Island helped the adults considerably during droughts. At age 27, she felt the “Call”, accompanied by a compulsion to see the culture of other races, drawing her away from her lakeside home. Outside of the Island, she learned a myriad of approaches to the art of healing, influencing her own practice as a traveling healer.
