Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

"My Words" My Thoughts "Your Words"

The wheels on the wagon, creaked as it strolled casually along. It was the mark of the new year. Things to do, things to go and see. And shopping. Surely, what can go wrong on a day as beautiful as this? What? Nothing. Definitely, and for sure Adyel could feel his glass of water half full instead of half empty as things were looking out for him. Well, as things mainly improved. Adyel sat uncomfortably on a seat in the wagon and the driver was quite. But, he had always a look of joy over his face. "Thank you sir
Thank you."
Said Adyel gleefully. He meant the thanks for the ride. "Your very welcome my good man. " Said the driver exuberantly.

Adyel took his right hand and shuffled it around his pockets and heard some change jingle and managed to fetch the proper amount of coin required for the trip.

" Here, sir. Take it the money for the ride you'll probably be busy all day. Probably even all night."The Kelvic said as he handed out his hand filled with Mizas as the wagon halted just in front of the Gates with a slow creak almost. The wheels could use some work on them it seems.

"Oh, no no no. That is for you to spend my good fellow. After all it is the new year. Who knows, those Mizas could serve you well."Said the driver with a nod of his head. Adyel sat back in his seat and thought about it for a moment. The trip from The Sanctuary was a bit of a long one. Surely. "No sir, your the one making the coins here. Not me. Please."Said Adyel as he gently placed his balled up hand filled with gold towards the man before him.

"Ah... Alright my young man. Take care. Happy new year."Said the man as he lightly grasped the money and implemented them into his coin pouch that sat beside him on the bench. The horses both knickered and whinnied in unison almost as Adyel got off the cart and walked past him. He carried his artist toolkit with him and his pack, just in case if his arms got tired or he needed to carry something more.

First things first. If Adyel was going to improve his painting and drawing ability. He would need a lot of supplies. And that means a lot, sure it was the afternoon and people are probably out here in Riverfall celebrating the new year of the Valterrian. Adyel still had things that he needed to supply himself with. And that meant even with coin.

The wind was light as a feather and felt good. Soothingly good as it flew by in playful gusts that rippled the young man's hair and pulled at the strands. The sun still positioned over the horizon and glowed a wondrous bright orange and a mixture of blue within the sky. White fluffy clouds filled the rest of the empty space and the other, it appeared to be clear. The city was grand in size. It gave Adyel a sensible feeling of security and reliance of the city that he can be safe. Stone filled the flooring of the streets and the majority of the buildings were stone as well. The architecture was almost different with every building, but the same as well.

Adyel overheard a woman chatting excitedly that she can't wait to see the new year tree be planted and Adyel figured that he should go and see it as well. He thought it would be something amazing to go and see the new year tree of the Valterrian.

As Adyel walked deeper through the city of Riverfall. He heard more socializing and most of which was about the new year and how things were going to go. It took less than a bell to just get to the Warrens. All he needed now was to purchase some art supplies. How hard could it be? Really?
