The 10th of Spring 516av. The Adan Pavillion.
It was fairly late in the morning. Perse eight bells so. Well, late in the mind of Brocton Adan. It was time that he set out for another hunting expedition. This time, hopefully to gain more experience and comfortability whilst out in the Sea of Grass. With a moan, the blonde slowly started to waken his eyes. He blinked a few times and rubbed the crustiness that got into his eyes from sleeping.
The ground beneath him was fairly hard and rough. Broc didn't mind as he was lying down on the bedroll. He caught sight of his sister Philly, and his mother already doing some family chores around the pavillion. Which usually isn't a lot. The two would occasionally wake up earlier in the morning so that once they finish their chores they'll soon be able to do what they want the rest of the day. Brocton chores is hunting. He and his father would usually go out and hunt with him. Lately, his father just hadn't had the time on him to do so.
Brocton rolled over on his side. The flaps of the tent swiftly opened up and revealed a dog. Not just any dog, his dog. His, companion. Terrance. It was a black and white furred hunting dog. He is just a few years of age and still he has the energy to pounce around and hunt. Broc chuckled lightly as the tongue of the furred animal licked his face. Including his eyes. Broc moaned a bit in disgust as he lightly pushed away the dog. "Calm down boy..." He said slowly. Rubbing his eyes once more and bringing them back down again.
He sat up on his rear and yawned. Stretching, he did his best to peer out into Synas sunlight that gleamed slightly through the pavillion. The tent was empty save for Brocton and Terrance. He heard chatting outside and figured that that could be his parents and sister. Though, he couldn't be so sure. As some other people could sound just like those whom he knows or might know. Broc got up with a push of his hands and slowly risen. Stretching once more. He put on his boots and slowly opened the flap of the tent by one hand and stepped out, slowly still.
He shields his eyes with the other hand as he closed the flap behind him, releasing the grip on the tent. "Ah, there you are. I thought you were out cold." Said his mother with a worried gaze over her face as she was washing clothes over a basin once again. "Mother, how many times a day would you have to clean those clothes. That's all I see you do now." Said Broc a bit more sourly then intended. He didn't mean for it to be in that form, but before he could think he spoke.
His mother just looked at him. Half flabbergasted and half anxious. "Well, how else would your clothes get cleaned? You dirty man. You know better then to speak to your own mother that way. That was unnecessary." She spoke. Pang hit Broc hard in the chest as his stomach almost did a double black flip. Broc sighed and cleared out the anxiety and tension that started to boil within him. "I apologize mother. You're right I will do better on my responses." He said sullenly. The blonde headed over to his mother slowly.
Terrance rushed around yapping and yipping excitedly for no apparent reason. One of the male's from another pavit peered over from his tent with a cocked brow. Broc didn't pay much mind to him. "So son, your going out hunting today, right?" His father asked. Broc jumped slightly as he hadn't seen his father come round the tent so unexpectedly. "Er ah yes father." Broc peered over his own tent to see what his father was doing. Brocton wasn't quite sure. "Good, you don't have to walk across the the land now to go get Jinx." As if on cue the horse whinnied from behind the tent.
"Father... You didn't need to-"
"Hush, you'll thank me later. Best you go get your job done so we can get some of them Mizas. Be careful out there. I love you son."
"I love you to father." Brocton walked back to his mother and sister washing clothes.
"Sorry mom. I will promise I'll do better. I swear." The mother looked over at him, hands wrist deep in a bucket of water.
"I know you will, now lean down so I can give you a kiss." Said his mother simply with a smile over her face. Broc leaned over and his mother kissed him on the forehead.
"Fair you well on your hunt, come back to us in one piece." Said Philly. Broc nodded and smiled. He gathered all of his hunting stuff including his longsword. Then, he would tie what he has over the Yvas. He untied Jinx from a post and mounted her. Then he clicked his heel and clicked his tongue. The two set of into the the Sea of Grass in search of game.
