Eli Satoras Appearance Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 20 Birthday: Day 72, Summer, 496 Birthplace: Lhavit Appearance: Eli stands at just over 6 feet tall, weighing 135 lbs. Pale skinned, with brown eyes and dull brown hair, Eli is of average attractiveness. His only distinctive feature is his above average height. Eli is relatively fit, but not particularly strong. Character Concept Eli is a clever, studious young man with a strong desire to learn. He is more intelligent than most, and learns more quickly, but because of this he often comes across as arrogant. When he believes he is in the right he can become confrontational, but if he discovers he is wrong he is quick to apologise. Eli desires to learn more, and eventually teach and help others enjoy the pursuit of knowledge as much as he does. Eli has a very clear sense of right and wrong, and believes that doing what is right is more important than adhering to laws. Eli would one day like to save up enough money to allow him to travel to Zeltiva, as studying at the university has been a lifelong dream for him. Eli is cautious of magic users, knowing that all but the most well trained can make fatal mistakes. However growing up in Lhavit he is well accustomed to observing the use of magic and has no prejudice against it. History Eli grew up in a family where study and learning was a central part of life. His father was a scribe by trade, but an avid mathematician and logician in his spare time, and he spent lots of time with Eli cultivating similar interests in his son. Eli's mother was a moderately talented Reimancer, and fluent in several languages. Through her Eli learnt about the basic principles of Djed and personal magic, and gained a rudimentary understanding of Arumenic. She died when Eli was just thirteen years old, in a magical accident that resulted in her burning to death. Eli's father passed away just before he turned 19, leaving him with no immediate family.
