The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Urkut didn't make a habit of listening to the natives.

Their tongue was nothing like her own, and it hurt her head to try and decipher all the time. Besides that, they rarely had anything valuable to say; they talked just to make noise. Occasionally, though, one would speak in a curious and excited voice that captured her attention. In these voices, she would find something interesting.

So it was with the whore.

Urkut didn't know for certain she was a whore, of course, but her body was exposed in a manner of ways, and her eyes fluttered just slightly too much. Her voice was low and slow, oozing along like sweet molasses (Or thin mud, as Urkut thought).

"Hon, did you hear?" She sang. "They've gone and opened up a new settlement on an island. Picture it! Palm trees, ocean waves, warmth year-round...and I bet they've got some ripped Isur over there too, working on construction. Yeah, since they're offering free land and some such shyke, they're probably real busy."

The whore winked suggestively, and her accomplice giggled right on cue. The whore was encouraged, and kept talking.

"The sad part is, it's in Falyndar. What ever would they do if some boars or monkey attacked? Or savages! Can you imagine, babe?"

Urkut's ears perked up, and she stopped walking in the middle of the traffic flow. People moved around her, unperturbed by her sudden revelation. The whore and her accomplice moved on, their voices fading as they went towards the rising sun.

"Falyndar?" She asked aloud in disbelief. She knew she couldn't return to Taloba- not yet- but her family could not pressure her from the comfort of an island, and it would feel so much more like home. She loved the streets of Lhavit and the star-studded skies, but they would never be the Jungle Wilds of home. Not to mention that she was rather tired of hearing the word "savage". It was a new settlement, a new home, a new start. She doubted they would hold prejudice there, as they had not yet established themselves.

If they had not yet established their community, and were offering free land, perhaps it was that they would be in need of a guard for the city, to protect them from the wilds. Or better yet, an army!

Her heart nearly skipped a beat at the thought.

Myri, this must be my destiny.
