Malachite Evenwing

Physical Appearance:
Mal is a young woman of average height, standing just an inch or so above her fellow women peers. Toned by harsh years, her body is built like a runner's; the swell of her hips and chest average at best.

Hazelnut green irises peer out from almond shaped eyes. Her lips are full, her cupids bow rounded and her nose is slim and straight. Tan skin, while marred by the occasional scar and decorated by a myriad of tattoos, is otherwise smooth, if a bit rough weathered.

Dark, chocolate brown hair reaches midback in soft waves, some strands pulled neatly into braids to keep them out of the way. Mal takes some pride in her appearance, refusing to let the hardships of her life affect her or the way she views herself. When she engages in a hunt, she will paint her eyes in a crude representation of raven wings, as an homage to her pavilion.

Personality:
Through a life forged by loss and hardship, Mal grew to be fierce, cautious and sharp. She rarely allows people close due to a prominent fear that she, too, carries the curse that took her family. The hunter believes that she will lose the people she ends up loving or caring for, either through illness or otherwise. For this reason she will initially appear abrasive and distant.

In truth, once trust is earned, Mal is as loyal as they come. She will fiercely protect what is hers, to the death, if she has to, and this makes her crave a connection with other people, which is difficult for her to admit. She enjoys a good drink as much as she enjoys the untamed majesty of a turbulent storm.

Mal enjoys painting with mineral paints as a past time, and grooming Bones, her strider, and Cornelius, her raven.

Moderator Intervention

The Issue(s): Hi there.

The Drykas NEVER paint their faces or roam around in black clothing. This is not a Drykas character concept. Also, you cannot have Ravens as a pet. They are WILD ANIMALS. If you are a falconer, you can have a raven or jay as a first animal but it requires basic falconry and they still don't become 'trained' like parrots.

I realize your PC is still a WIP. But I wanted to intervene early. Also, this AVATAR has already been used (and overused) multiple times
