Casius Skirata Appearance Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 22 Birthday: 35, Spring, 496 AU Birthplace: Syliras Appearance: Casius or Cas (what is father used to call him)is 6’2”, 195 lbs. He is of average build neither too muscular nor too thin. His light brown hair is always pulled back into what people call a wolfs tail, with his head shaved on all sides, which shows three parallel scars going from just behind his right temple to the back of his head. His rounds face makes people think that he is many years younger than he actually is. So he lets his facial hair grow just a little. The light grey eyes of his show the pain he went through. Character Concept Casius loves people but very distrustful of them, but once someone has earned his trust (which is quite hard) he considers them family. Family for him is of the utmost importance. Most people’s first impression of Casius is that he is care free and always happy which is quite the opposite of his true personality. He actually carries a lot of sorrow and heartbreak. People begin to pick up on it even after just a few minutes of talking to him. He is very straight forward and blunt which sometimes considered rude, he is this way due to his upbringing in the forest where beating around the bush will get you killed. Cas prays to the goddess Caiyha. Character History Born in Syliras to Cato and Aurelai Skirata Cas spent his childhood in the forest just outside the city, living in a small cottage. Cato tough Cas how to hunt and forage from a very young age, and to always give thanks to Caihya for the bounty of the forest. Whenever Cato would go into the city to sell any extra food, skins, herbs or anything they didn’t need he would often take Cas with him. During one of the trips to the city to sell some medicinal herbs to an herbalist, Cas met the daughter of the shop owner, a beautiful girl named Janice. From the moment Cas saw her he was enraptured with her beauty. It took him several visits to the city before he finally got up the courage to say more than a customary hello. Over the next few years Janice and Cas developed a wonderful friendship. During on hunt Cas didn’t notice an old wolf sneak up on him. He was able to fight it off but he gained the scars on his head. On the eve of his 22nd birthday Cas decide to take a walk in the forest to his favorite spot underneath an old oak tree. Before he left home his father gave him his birthday gift, a beautifully carved churchwarden pipe with an engraving around the bowel that said “With all our love Mom and dad.” When Cas was on his way home he notice the smell of smoke in the air, growing worried he ran home to find his house ablaze and the screams of his parents as they were burned alive. Over the next few days he stayed by the burnt remains of his house. Cas took his parents remains and buried them underneath the old oak. After saying a Prayer to Caiyha he decided it was time to head to the city to start a new chapter in his life. Language Fluent Language: Common Basic Language: Fill me in, if you want. There are a few things to polish up on your CS so it shines like a star. Let’s work out the kinks so you can get back to writing and roleplaying to your heart’s content.

1. Age: If you would like Casius to be 22 years old, he would need to be born in 494 AV.

2. History: There is a bit of a disconnect with the sudden death of his parents and his reaction to their death. He hardly seems affected by the event and yet he considers Family to be of utmost importance. Additionally, it seems strange for a house to suddenly catch fire with no means of escape. Kitchen fires could occur, but one could probably manage to escape through the door. However, if you’d like to hint at foul play, then it might be more believable.

3. Language: Would you like to include a basic and/or poor language as part of your starting package? If so, please explain how he learned it. If not, then that is perfectly acceptable too. Just take out the “Fill me in” text.

4. Longbow: Please indicate this skill as “Weapon: Longbow” to be consistent with how people label these skills on Mizahar.

5. Wilderness Survival: As someone who is competent at wilderness survival, you get one primary terrain and one secondary terrain in which you are knowledgeable in. Terrains/biomes include: forest, mountains, plains, swamp, ocean, desert, etc. I gather that his primary terrain would be forest, but you can also select a secondary terrain at this time. Please note it somewhere (for example with an asterisk *)

6. Possessions: Please choose a Coat OR Cloak.

7. Housing Location: Please revise the spelling of Syliras. Don’t worry, lots of place names to learn.
