Scars
Deleronark's body is pocketed all over with scars, and reminders of his time as a slave, and the fights from the pit. However, there is one wound which leaves a lasting memory. In one fight, with another kelvic, he took a nasty gash to the torso. Even now the wound causes him discomfort.

Race: Kelvic, Talderian Grey Wolf
Gender: Male
Age: 4
Birthday: 08, Spring, 512.
Birthplace: Taldera

Detailed Appearance: :
Deleronark is built much like that of a wolf. In his human form, he stands tall, just at five feet and eleven inches, and broad. His muscles have been worked for his entire young life and they show, one looking upon him in his desired state of dress would notice accenting his muscled form is the body of a tortured life. His back, and arms are pocketed with small scars, and marks. While upon his chest is a rather large rend, which looks like that of claws. His hair is a strange shade of browns which look like that of a beast’s pelt, and his face is usually accented with a couple days of facial hair. Looking in his eyes is like looking into that of a hunter, the piecing amber orbs stare back with untrust and contempt, wondering when you will try to use him as others have.

When dressed Deleronark chooses to wear light and simple clothing, those in which can easily be discarded if the need arises. Typically, he can be seen wearing a set of loose black trousers, and that is all. However, if it gets cold he does own a simple shirt, boots, and even a cloak. Traditionally he carries no weapons, for his skills and arts do not need them.

While within the form of a wolf, Deleronark isn’t much of a different story. Looking upon this form, one thing is immediately apparent, and that is of his size, he stands close to twice that of a typical grey wolf found within Mizahar. Looking at him, one would see a grey and brown coat, and tense muscles. The eyes of a hunter would look back at them, the same amber eyes of his human form.

While as a wolf, Deleronark from snout to tail is around nine and a half feet in length, and stands at shoulder almost four feet tall. In all other aspects, however, he looks rather average for a male grey wolf, with a blocky snout and small round ears. If one were to examine his body, they would learn that his scars, much like his eyes, transfer between his two forms.

Character Concept

Personality: Deleronak is very untrusting young adult, he grew up seeing the darkest sides of humanity. This leads to a conflict of personality. He wishes nothing more than to see the brighter side of people, to trust them, and earn their companionship. However, it takes him a long time to give them his trust. Even then he questions their every motive.

Ethics: Deleronark has a rather mixed ethical code. This is probably due to a combination of age, and experience. He is after all only 2 years of age. He has had very little experience outside of his cage as a free man. This causes him to look at things in a naïve way to out lookers. However, to him it is just the logical solutions. He has no problem with killing, however if he can avoid it he would. Another such example is in regard to food, to some Deleronark could be cannibalistic, for he has no problem eating an attacker.

Likes: Deleronark is simple at heart. He likes good food, the moon, and simple conversation. He likes the thrill of a hunt, and the feeling of running as a wolf. He hasn’t lived enough as a free man truly know what he likes.

Dislikes: Quite opposite to likes, he has lived plenty long to know what he dislikes. Deleronark will never see himself again thrown into a cage, he hates captivity, slavery, and everything that stands for. He will actively seek to stop, and protect situations that he sees. Being an animal as much as man, he hates cruelly of any kind, to any of Mizahars creatures.

Detailed Concepts :
Deleronark is a strange youth. He seems to move with a grace and posture unsuspected of humans. To one with the knowledge of such things, this would mark him as in fact being a kelvic. He is young, having just recently aged into the adult years of his species, just under three years of age, and even though that is the case due to his life he is more mature than one would give him credit for, however he is quite untrusting to the world, and ways of man.
This leads to a conflict between his mind, and his heart, the latter of which who usually wins out. These conflicts usually arise in situations Deleronark seems to find himself in, he will seeming accept an offer, or boon, or even just a drink, from someone he first meets, seeming acting friendly and kind, until with almost no warning he turns around, and the opposite is shown. He becomes untrusting, and unwieldy seeing hidden motives, and dark thoughts behind everything the person does. This makes a friendship with the young kelvic hard, however when it is created one would learn he is far more loyal, and compassionate than any would expect. Deleronark, even though he might not know it himself, desires human companionship, and wants nothing more than to see the good and positive within people, despite the shades that seem to haunt his past.

The kelvic is like this because of his life, and upbringing. As far as he can remember, he was captive to a rather nasty group of slavers and thugs who called the Sylira, and sometimes Taldera or Sea of Grass(when they needed something exotic), regions their domain. Deleronark was one of their “prized possessions” due to his strength, and kelvic form. He was used for all sorts of tasks, from mining, to manual labor. However, his primary usage was in the pit fights, getting coin and renown for the company. Deleronark spent over two years under their tyrannical rule, and even then, due to his form, and usage he was treated better than many of the slaves, and creatures which were bought, captured, and sold by the company.

Deleronark was kelvic, which on its own caused problems, which the company has to deal with. From escape attempts, to attacks on his “masters”, to refusal to eat, the kelvic would try again and again to fight his captors. However, the kelvic happens to be of a particularly rare breed, which is why the company deals with these problems instead of just selling off the kelvic. Deleronark, when in the form of his kelvic animal, is that of a Talderian Grey wolf, or Dire Wolf. This causes his animal form to be over half again the size of a normal animal, which is why he is so prized within the arena. He is thrown is as an exotic show and fighter.

Deleronark lived in such a way for as long as he could remember until one seemingly normal day, changed everything. After a series of peculiar events, seasons in the making, starting with finally being sold, all ending with a miraculous climax. The kelvic found himself out of his cage, his collar no longer a problem, and the other slaves freed. He didn’t think twice, nor did he look back as he fled from his captures to join the pavilions of Endrykas.

Once away from his captors Deleronarks demeanor starts to change, almost against his will. He does not wish to live within a world feeling only contempt and mistrust, and as such attempts to give trust to others, and gain it in return. He will however, never allow himself to be used again, and if he starts to feel as such will swiftly, and violently, react to the person causing the issue. He will almost never be seen wearing a pack, at least not one of his own. He does not have enough items to carry, and he refuses to do the manual labor of others. There is however one exception, The Kelvic hates seeing animals burdened, having served as a beast of burden himself, and one onlooking him would see during his travels, he would switch with his horse, taking the burden from his companion.

Character History
OOCThere are two NPC's which are part of Deleronarks backstory, they are listed on a separate page down below.

Deleronark was a slave, an object of show to a greedy master. The master however wished to extend his reach, and would yell, quite loudly, about his greatness. The simple version is Deleronark is a slave to the man, and handles more or less like a showdog/packmule/whatever else the man wishes, along with another slave, a female Drykas. Deleronak handles various tasks (ones detailed include manual labor, mining, and fighting), while the female handles more unsavory tasks. An unfortunate meeting (for the master) ends with Deleronark running away in wolf form, Karowen on his back currently going through overgiving problems due to The Flux.

However, the two do not last long, and the next night, after Karowen gave Deleronark his heirloom they are soon found by two riders on horseback, and Deleronark is recaptured, this time by the slavers from Kenash. Karowen soon passes away, her wounds too much to for her, much to the heartbreak of Deleronark. He would be taken to Kenash, collared once again unable to shift. Deleronark is forced to work in the mines, he does not know why, or what for only that it was far worse than anything he had previously ever endured, and this new master was nothing more than a monster.

From this point, Deleronark would be a slave in the mines found within this thead *I have gotten permission from prophet to allow this. He would work in servitude, never once being allowed to shift into his wolf form, however he never forgot his drive to be free. He would help in the fight where he can, but for the most part join the slaves until they reach Endrykas.

Once he is within the city he is just treated as another freed slave. His goal is to gain standing within the encampment, and learn about the place his dead bondmate was once from. If she had any relatives, he would find them and give them the stories of her love and bravery. His current skills and survival knowledge have been learned in the two seasons sense, and leading up to this one.

Detailed History :

Pre-Creation Backstory

Slavery, Spring 512AV
Deleronark, for as long as he can remember was a slave. He was used primarily as a “Work Horse”, for all sorts of tasks. One of which included fighting. He would be slave to a rather nasty, however admittedly smart, male of Syliras decent. The character worked under the man, collard to prevent his change, excluding the rarest of times. Some would wonder why he was kept around. In fact, the man’s motives for keeping Deleronark would be simple. Power, and greed. The fact that he had a Talderian animal under his thumb was not something he wished to give up. He had a couple more “Rarities” as he called them, his little collection. Deleronark would spend almost two years under the man’s rule, his only friend being another slave the man kept under his thumb. A captured Drykas Female who was used for various uses that are best not said.

The slaver, Zarth, and whoever worked for him, called the Sylira, and sometimes Taldera or the Sea of Grass (when they needed something exotic), regions their domain. Deleronark was one of their “prized possessions” due to his kelvic form, and apparent, sometimes surprising, strength. He was used for all sorts of tasks, from mining, to manual labor. However, his primary usage was actually more of a “Show Dog”, an animal which would be used to show his masters power and mastery as a slaver. Deleronark however, did have another much less frequent use. At times when his owner was feeling bold, reckless, or just wanted money he would take his dog to Ravok, in order to participate in the pit fights. He would never be put into more than one fight, and although there were always talks of his purchase it just never seemed to happen. Deleronark spent almost two years under their tyrannical rule, and even then, due to his form, and usage, he was treated better than many of the slaves and creatures which were bought, captured, and sold by the company.

Deleronark was kelvic, which on its own caused problems, the company has to deal with. From escape attempts, to attacks on his “masters”, to refusal to eat, the kelvic would try again and again to fight his captors. Deleronark however, had a few flaws that he himself, as well as his master, was blatantly aware of. Firstly, he did not want to die, as much as he would fight, his mind would always win out and he would choose survival. Accepting whatever they demanded of him.

Deleronark spent his childhood, around a full year, in this sort of state doing menial tasks never truly getting to enjoy what it is to be kelvic. He hated that he was so “special”. His childhood year was tough, and he does not remember most of it, however he will always remember meeting his second reason to choose life. This one which ended up making the troubling wolf much easier to manipulate.

The Start of Training, Winter 512AV
Deleronark, when he was coming into his first year of age was introduced to a female with strange dark markings upon her skin. He was informed she would start to train him, a concept she did not seem to like. They were both informed, that in almost one years’ time, Deleronark would be taken to Ravok, he would be expected to fight. Him remaining servitude depended on the outcome of these fights. Should Deleronark survive, but loose, he would be sold to the highest bidder. He didn’t need to be told how much harder his life would become if he was bought in Ravok, slaves told stories of the horrors often enough.

Their training, would always been monitored, they would be chained around the neck, in order to prevent escape. Armed guards would watch, many times with Zarth himself standing over the proceedings. He was quick to punish either of the two, should they not try hard enough. Deleronark was trained by more than one person, sometimes it would be guards, sometimes it would be the female, Karowen he learned her name was. Zarth even sometimes joined, though always at length, he couldn’t risk losing an arm after all, and his training always seemed to be more just tortured fun. Deleronark started to crave training with the female over any other, for multiple reasons, one of which was to get her away from her other… duties.

During this time, Deleronark would learn something else from the female. Almost without trying, as a supplement to aid his training, she started to teach him a strange sigh language, one which would be accompanied with words, and gestures. The language “spoke” of concepts more than simple words, and had Deleronark been older, it would have probably been much harder for him to learn. Deleronark started to love these sessions, few and far in-between as they were.

In addition to growing older during the next few months, Deleronark started to have more of an understanding to just what sort of slave his trainer was. Upon discovering this, he went into a rage, causing large amounts of trouble. For his transgression, he spent almost a full week within a cage just large enough to hold his Talderian form, his bindings making him unable to shift. Deleronark found it harder and harder to understand how he was feeling about his trainer. She seemed only to provide him aid, and a warm smile. When he would think of it, a strange sensation would overtake his mind.

Things continued this way for the next couple seasons, Deleronark had grown up fast and was getting close to adulthood. He had grown stronger, and faster, leaner and larger. Zarth would continue to use him for various things, either showing him off during auctions, never accepting any offers, or having him do one thing or another. His typical tasks had increased, he was treated more and more as a pack horse and worker. When he had misbehaved Zarth had come up with various punishments for the slave. Most of which involved hard labor, or hours on end stuck in his cage, unable to shift either way. Deleronark preferred the former to the latter every time, however either way Zarth pushed the limits of Deleronarks endurance.

Djed in the Air, Fall 513AV
Deleronark had continued to show promise as a fighter, and his skills improved. One night, Karowen was again training him. She was teaching him of some strange law of nature he did not understand. The word seemed weird upon hearing it, she called it djed. She told him, due to his inexperience, he would be outmatched within the pit. She warned him, that if he did not learn what she was to teach him, he would lose. The training was harder than ever before, she seemed to be faster, and stronger than he remembered, and he wasn’t able to keep up, she said it was due to The Flux a mystical art which she learned from her father. At the time, Zarth had thought it was him being weak, and was certain to punish him for it.

This punishment took the form of a trip. Zarth had recently gotten into a partnership with a mining company who needed cheap labor, and felt Deleronak needed a lesson on strength and fortitude. For over two weeks, bordering on three, Deleronak got to see just what being a mining slave meant. He was collared, to make sure he couldn’t change, before being taken deep into tunnels. Even if he could shift, as he traveled into the depts, he learned some of their tunnels and ladders would never hold his form. He had plenty of time in that dark abyss to think upon what Karowen had taught him, and plenty of time to mourn her face and form, as he grew he realized more and more how much he appreciated her. He thought about her works, about the pathways of djed she spoke of, and decided his training did not have to end just because he was away.

Once the time was up, he found himself for the first time, being relieved to see the face of his old master. That was, until he was reminded that once they returned to the compound, he would have little time before he got to prove himself, and they made their next journey. Deleronark would grow weary of the traveling, and it had been way to long sense he had seen Karowen.

As the time drew near, Karowen was particularly brutal with his return, she seemed to be harsher, and didn’t look into his eyes, other than to attack. As they trained, she spoke to him words of warning, commands of action, however her hands spoke another language. She spoke of friendship, and companionship. On loss, and life. In secret, she asked him about the djed within his body. The silent conversation went on, as she schooled him in the art. Until, as he lunged towards her, he understood what to do, and felt the flow of djed leave his unused body parts, and focus onto his legs. He felt his leg tighten up, as he propelled himself forward, faster than himself, or Karowen, anticipated.

He ended up on top of her, looking downwards into her eyes. While there, all fight left both of them, and for the first time Deleronark felt something click inside of him. He knew, at that point, he wished to escape. He wished for a new life. For himself, and the woman he loved. He doesn’t remember if he kissed her, or she kissed him. Nor, did either of them remember that they were being watched.

The Fights, Summer 514AV
Soon, Deleronark woke to the movement of his cage. Zarth looked upon him with a sadistic smile. He told Deleronark, how he hoped the wolf was ready for what Ravok had in store. He reminded the kelvic about how, if he lost, he would never see Karowen again, and he promised, she would be punished greatly for failing at his training. Deleronark traveled with his master, for many seasons. His master had been true to his word, he never once saw Karowen in that time, however his training did not stop, and he enjoyed it much, much less.

In the end, Deleronark returned with his master, however he had changed. He seemed to have grown years in the time he was gone, his face was now masked with anger, and hatred towards humanity and the vile creatures he met. Deleronark had won his fights, however it was not without consequence. He was pitted against another Kelvic, a creature who now was dead. One who was much faster, and much more ready to kill, the battle left a large scar upon Deleronarks torso, that of a claw mark which went from his left peck downwards and towards his right ribs. Karowen tried to show him kindness, however neither of them had enough time together.

Deleronark had become darker, and much angrier. He fought back more often, consequences be damned. The only thing which seemed to temper him was Karowen and their bond, while the only thing which kept him in line, was her life. Once more in the coming months Deleronark spent time in the caves for some indiscretion, and twice more did he fight for his master. Deleronark practiced the skills he learned from Karowen when able, using Flux to help with his tasks, However, his master stopped taking him to the fight, he grew tired of dealing with Deleronark, and more often thought about just accepting some of the offers made. Yet, his pride would not let him.

One day, Deleronark woke to a hand at his cage, Karowen was there, in her travel clothes. Men were loading him into a cart. After listening to the gossip, he learned they were headed close to a city known as Kenash. The location was not important to Deleronark, as he knew nothing of the regions around his masters’ home, excluding the trip north towards Ravok, and east into the caves. However, what was important was that there were at least seven other slaves, excluding himself and Karowen being loaded up.

Deleronark had been in this sort of situation long enough to expect what would happen. The seven being loaded up were for sale, while himself and Karowen would be for show. Deleronark was released from his cage, after they made sure his collar was nice and tight, and forced to help with the loading and preparation. He took the time to speak with Karowen in the language of her people, he knew he wasn’t very good at it, but gave them privacy away from the overlords that ruled their everyday lives. The two had grown closer, and their bond seemed to grow, even when they were apart. Deleronark found he was able to “sense” her emotions, and she his.

Escape, Winter 515AV
The journey was long, the group traveled for many days and nights with regular stops in-between. Eventually, upon reaching their final destination they met with a slightly smaller group, led by a man in a strange gold-trimmed black cloak. The new man, and Zarth talked at length, debating prices and talking about the world. Most of the situation did not matter to the kelvic, who was content to sit and nap. That was, until the conversation turned to Karowen.

Deleronark couldn’t understand what was going on. For the first time there actually seemed like a chance of Karowen being sold, his bondmate might leave him forever. He kept finding himself looking between the two negotiators. Waiting for the final decision. That was, until he looked upon Karowen, and everything made sense. Using the language, she had taught him, she signed to him the words for djed, trickery, and preparation. After some thought he understood most of the message, the new man, was using some sort of djed to sway their masters mind. Deleronark wasn’t sure what sort of ability could cause this, but he knew he didn’t want to be on the other end of it. The end of her message however confused him, what was he preparing for.

He looked over, and for the first time noticed how Zarths eyes seemed slightly glazed over. He watched, and soon enough he agreed to sell Karowen, and watched as he was pointed to next. It was his turn to be on the negotiations table.

In the end, the two came to an agreement, much to Deleronarks amazement. His master looked to be in a daze as they started to walk to the cage. That’s when it clicked, he knew why Karowen had warned him to be ready. While his master was in such a daze, they were going to try and make their escape.

Everything seemed to happen so fast, he was collared, so the guards had no reason to worry about his retaliation, however Karowen was not usually caged, or chained like the rest of them. Her record was spotless, and she was starting to become a favorite. The new man had taken Zarths key ring, turned to his guards. Telling one of them to open Deleronarks cage. As soon as the key was in his cage, just as the guard started to turn it, Karowen sprang into action. She was situated next to his cart, with a few of the other slaves. She grasped the side of the cart and heaved with all her might. No one other than Deleronark knew just how much power it was she controlled. But, even then, it was not enough.

The cart started to tip, and the two men were looking upon the scene, Deleronark had to act fast. He centered himself, and calmed his mind thinking of his teachings. He felt as his flow of djed changed, the areas that were not his targets became weaker. However, his legs grew stronger, he felt his muscles tense as he sprang into action, slamming into the side of the cage with force. With the combined strength of the two the cart toppled over to the side, the heavy cage falling onto Zarth who remained unmoving. For a second the world spun, and Deleronark lost his bearing.

He was on his side, and started to stand. He looked around, and reached for his cage door, turning the key the rest of the way. He was free. He then used the keys to unlock his collar, as he turned towards Karowen. She was yelling to him, telling him to run.

In the chaos, some of the remaining slaves decided to fight back, while others coward. Deleronark told Karowen to grab him, ignoring the chaos surrounding them. Some guards reacted swiftly, however most froze as they saw the massive wolf appear in their encampment. The wolf didn’t think twice as it ran up to Karowen, who grasped around its neck.

Deleronark felt the adrenalin surging through his veins as he started to run, he could hear someone shouting, but he ignored it. Karowen was heavy, and slowed him down, but he pushed through it, not even certain which direction he was running.

Recapture, Winter 515AV
The victory did not last long however, as it wasn’t long before they ran into their first problem. As Deleronark was running, he felt a change in the woman on his back. It started out small, and then all at once. He could feel her grasping him, tighter than before, and her arms were shaking, as if she had the shivers. Being unable to address her, he stopped as she fell off his form. He changed next to her, trying to reach her, yet her eyes were glazed over, and her body was shaking. Her shoulders, and back, seemed to be having some sort of spasm. Deleronark realized what it was he was looking at, his lover and bondmate was going through overgiving. He knew little of what it entailed, for they had not spoken of it long, yet he was warned by Karowen, when she first taught him the flux, that it was a danger.

Deleronark sat with his bondmate through the night, as she came in and out of the tremors, mostly unable to communicate. That was, until she called his name. Looking him in the eyes, she spoke of her home, of the Sea of Grass. He felt her place something into his hands, a small necklace, a piece of wood carved into leths likeness, with intricate spirals crisscrossing upon it. She looked him in the eyes, and professed her love before the tremors once again took over her body. Deleronark would weep, his tears where not his first sense slavery, for he had cried many times in his life, yet none had been as profound.

That night however, Deleronark learned his second problem. He was not born within the wilds, he was not trained to survive. He was not stealthy, nor was he trained in the ways of the wilderness. However, his pursers were the opposite, they combed the lands daily for new prey, they had trackers and dogs, and no slaver in their right mind would give up a catch as “special” as Deleronark. It didn’t take long for some riders to find him and his bondmate.

Deleronark fought fiercely, but in the end, he could not leave Karowen, and they were recaptured. However, his captures were not the ones he knew previously he would come to learn. When he was taken back to the camp, bruised, and almost unconscious. He was recollared, and taken to see his master. The face looking upon him however, was that of the man in the gold trimmed cloak.

The Mines, Winter 515AV
Karowen soon passes away, her wounds too much to for her, and the travel not helping, much to the heartbreak of Deleronark. Her body was lost to the wilds, left for some animal to find her. He would be taken to Kenash, collared once again unable to shift. Deleronark is forced to work in the mines, he does not know why, or what for only that it was far worse than anything he had previously ever endured, and this new master was nothing more than a monster.

From this point, Deleronark would be a slave in the mines found within Cyphrus, the slavers are connected to this IC thread*(I have gotten permission from prophet to allow this). He would work in servitude, never once being allowed to shift into his wolf form, however he never forgot his drive to be free.

True Freedom, Spring 516AV
The characters associated with the thread above rescued hundreds of captured slaves, and took them to Endrykas, many of which are accepted into the pavilions. He would help in the fight, when it broke out and where he could, but for the most part join the slaves until they reach Endrykas.

Once he is within the city he is just treated as another freed slave. His goal is to gain standing within the encampment, and learn about the place his dead bondmate was once from. If she had any relatives, he would find them and give them the stories of her love and bravery.

Over the next two seasons Deleronark would learn the ways of the pavilions, he would learn the skills necessary to survive, and put his training to use. He did not know yet which pavilion he wished to join, would he be a good hunter? Could he stomach once again working labor, this time for choice? Deleronark has yet to decide truly what he will do with his freedom.

Winter 516AV
This is where Deleronarks backstory ends, and his true story will begin.

Name: Aberlyrd
Breed: Gilding
Size: 15.2 Hands High
Age: 2 years
Gender: Male

Deleronarks horse is a hardy Gilding with a tricky personality. He enjoys putting Deleronark on his toes, and periodically plays tricks on the kelvic. Deleronark bought the horse not long after joining the Drykas by saving from jobs that he would do. The two currently have an uneasy peace. Deleronark has to keep in mind, that the horse is not use to a massive predator, and as of right now wont even allow himself to be ridden.

Name: Karowen Nightrunner
Relationship: Friend, Lover, Bondmate
Birthdate: 56th of Winter, 585
Age: 31
Race: Drykas, Female
Status: Deceased

Karowen was captured by Zarth and kept around for a few reasons. The first being her looks, and spirit. Being a Drykas female of the Diamond Pavilion she was a hearty fighter, and would fight Zarth at every step. He would spend hours playing with her, and enjoying her fights. The second reason however came as a surprise to everyone.
Karowen was an fighter among the Drykas. She did not have skills that were exceptional, or out of the ordinary. She did however have an edge that others would not see coming. Her father, who was not born among the horse clan, had taught her to use a force known as djed, a mystical energy within the body which if manipulated in the right ways can lead to increases in strength, and speed. This ability was known as The Flux.
With this in mind, one would wonder how she was captured. Although she never truly reveled the details to Deleronark, he believed it was because she wished to travel, and was attempting to visit her father’s homeland when she was overrun.
When Deleronark was a little over his first year of age, Karowen was forced to start training him in the arts she knew, in hand to hand combat. She did this only because she knew if she did not, the child would die, and their master might just decide she was not worth keeping alive. Zarth had planned on putting him into fights once he was ready. She agreed to train him, almost solely for her own survival, but also for the young kelvic to have a chance. During this time, the two grew close, as Deleronark age he grew fond of the girl, and despite how much she tried to keep him at arm’s length, knowing it would only end badly, she grew fond of him. One day, their relationship just clicked, and although neither of them truly knew what had happened, they were bonded.
Once Zarth became aware of this, their lives only got worse, and they were both much easier to manipulate.

Name: “Master”, Zarth Armstrong
Relationship: Ex-Master
Race: Human, Male
Status: Believed Deceased, unconfirmed.

Zarth was a cruel and vindictive power hungry master. He would travel the region looking for slaves who fit his sadistic collection, and men who were of unsavory character, willing to follow him. He was obsessed with his own image, he wished to appear powerful for all to see, and Deleronark was one of the ways he did this.
Deleronark believes Zarth perished the night he and Karowen tried to escape.
