Appearance

Reva is a pale, skinny woman. Long platinum blonde wave flow partway down her back, and a pair of pale green eyes adorn a heart-shaped face. Being Konti, Reva has scales adorning her forehead and scattered across her body. They often glint white in the sun. She also has webs both in between her fingers and her toes.

Reva is quiet, quieter than most of her kind, even. She's not likely to approach people. The exception would be if she feels someone needs her medical assistance, which is where the Konti knows how to take charge and give orders. She is also very levelheaded in fast-paced medical situations, when she needs to focus on giving the patient what they need.

Reva also adores children, and is almost maternal in her behavior towards them. This is another situation in which she opts to come out of her shell, playing and laughing with younger generations. She will take on a maternal role when comforting or advising peers, though some may perceive it as patronizing or condescending.

When Reva finds a friend or lover she connects to, she may not be as good of an emotional empathizer as other Konti with more feeling-honed gifts, but she will listen, and she will care as best she can. She's also very careful about others getting physically hurt, and will encourage them to take precautions.

Generally, Reva is careful and cautious, and doesn't take drastic action unless she considers it first. It is rare that Reva will just do something "on a whim," and she's not impulsive in the slightest, which can often cause her to miss out on fun opportunities. However, in the right scenarios, because she isn't likely to outright say no, Reva can succumb to peer pressure and do things she normally wouldn't.

History
Reva was born in the early summer of 484 AV in Riverfall, to an Akalak father and a Konti mother. She grew up with an Akalak brother who was a few years older than her, and they were close for most of Reva's early childhood. The two would spend their time wreaking havoc in their home city, two children with the entire world before them. The first twenty years of the girl's life were spent like this, in a place that felt like paradise to her (though she never knew anything else).

However, their parents, never married, gradually grew apart and began to understand that they weren't quite right for each other. There had been no loathing, no screaming matches, but the love they'd had began to resemble a relationship between friends rather than lovers. Reva's parents decided to turn a new leaf in their lives, and left each other in search of their own paths. Reva's brother stayed with their father in Riverfall, while her mother returned to Mura with her daughter in tow.

Mura was new to Reva, and she had the opportunity to meet the diverse cast of women that made up her extended family, and to find where she fit in amongst her own kind. She had a grandmother, feistier than your typical Konti, a focused, middle-aged woman who took pride in her ability to throw a good punch. Reva also realized her own mother's skill in building homes, and learned the basics from her. However, Reva truly found her niche with her aunt, a skilled healer. The girl found that her gift gave her a great advantage, and found a passion for working with the injured and the young.

Once Reva reached adulthood, she decided to return to Riverfall and spend some time with her father and brother. She spent three years there, then began to hear of Syka and their need for healers. A coastal, tropical paradise had its appeals, and she crossed the channel at the end of Winter 518 to begin a life in the coastal settlement.
