Hikaru is a jewelcrafter with aspirations to be the most renowned businessman in the world. He was raised as a woodworker but something about gemstones brought a twinkle to his eyes. He yearns for wealth but not in order to buy anything in particular; it’s the lifestyle he’s after. His major setbacks to his goals are having been born a commoner and having been raised to be an honest man who often puts him behind his more shady peers.
Character History
Hikaru was born into a poor family comprised of craftsmen and women. His family was always more focused on happiness than wealth so they only worked enough to survive. Because of this, Hikaru often found himself outclassed socially and materially by other kids. As Hikaru grew, he became more and more envious of his peers to a point that he started working just to afford what other kids got for free from their parents.
Years of hard work brought Hikaru’s competency to a level that was good enough to afford his own living arrangements and paved a way towards the life of luxury that he had always coveted.
