Ayasi's appearance screams Inarta. There isn't much about there that could deceive the eye. Her hair is short, almost reaching her shoulders, yet is a raging red. She wears a thin, beaded scarf around a section of her hair, as if to brand herself as an Inarta. Her eyes are a bright blue and freckles dance across her pale face, making her appear much younger than she actually is. The only thing not average about her is her height. Ayasi is 5'7", a bit taller than the average female Inarta.
Character Concept
Ayasi is bright-eyed and very optimistic, always attempting to bring cheer to those around her. Her adventurous nature betrays her occasionally, when her brave Inarta qualities get her into sticky situations.
Ayasi has one main goal; to become an Avora, an artisan. Her glassworking skills are in need of improvement, but her hard work and determination are bound to lead her to her destination.
Ayasi's biggest fears are abandonment and isolation. Moving out of Wind Reach meant leaving behind her family and friends for a huge, unknown world with only the company of her bird. While strong-willed, Ayasi's weaknesses lie in her quick-trusting nature and plentiful forgiveness.
Character History
Ayasi was born in Wind Reach in 499 AV along with her slightly older twin brother. She was raised a commoner and began learning glassworking and falconry at an early age. However, it was archery that stole her heart. She had a tendency of daydreaming during her glassworking lessons and although she loved the craft, her mind stayed in the fields with her bird, teaching herself archery. She taught herself the art of the bow while being told she needed to focus on her glasswork to make a living. It was her rebellious habits that got her brother killed.
When Ayasi and her brother were out practicing their archery, they strayed too far near the edge of the cliff and while her brother was chasing a mouse, her slipped and fell off the edge. Ayasi has blamed herself for being the one to drag him out that day and keeps him in her heart with each passing day.
By her eighteenth birthday, Ayasi decided she wanted to travel. She packed the few things she owned and left Wind Reach in search of adventure, of something new.
