Physical Description

With his 6’ 1’’ Lorn is large for a Vantha. He has a proud posture and, like most of his kind, athletic sleek body. His skin is of a deep olive timbre and despite the harsh conditions of northern Taldera, never dry. His dark shiny hair is tied in a tight knot so it wouldn’t hamper him while hunting. Lorn keeps a short beard, mostly because it helps fight Taldera’s cold.

Three scars line the left side of his face and he was lucky not to lose his eye. Years ago on one of his first hunts he mistook a polar bear for a Kelvic and barely survived. His father gave his life to protect Lorn and ever since, he feels guilty for that sacrifice.

Like any Vantha his eyes change colour depending on his mood. His irises frequent grey and blue colours but also a dark Bordeaux red.
Lorn’s facial features are delicate but with a certain feral and weatherbeaten look to them due to being outside often. Some would describe him as looking rugged for a Vantha.

Character Concept
Lorn provides in his livelihood as a hunter and occasional fisherman and is therefore extremely agile and quick of hand due to being a hunter. Rather an introvert person because of struggling with the guilt and frustration he feels regarding the death of his father he left Winterflame hold and travelled to Aventhal. Lorn believed it would be easier for himself and his family.

Despite being quite a loner he likes to spend time in other holds as a guest or to listen to stories. Just as long as others don’t ask him to tell one. He can tell a story but one way or another Lorn always ends up telling the chronicle of the wild polar bear encounter.

Character History
Lorn was born in Winterflame Hold and grew up among the other Vantha children as a lively and merry person. His father was also a hunter and taught his son the trade. His sister, three years younger than Lorn, was the cause of his mother’s death. She died in childbirth.

Lorn’s father didn’t blame Myri but always kept a certain distance to her. Myri and Lorn got on pretty well but when Lorn returned from a hunt one day, alone there was a rupture between the siblings. Myri held Lorn responsible for their father’s death and told him she never wanted to see him again.

Lorn packed his things and snuck away like a thief in the night and made a separate life in Avanthal. No particular hold is his home and he is welcome everywhere but he refrains from entering his former hold of Winterflame.

His future goal is to join the Icewatch and help protect and serve Avanthal.
