Human Form - Slightly shorter than average at 5'3, and a bit slender from spending the last couple years in slavery. Her skin tone is naturally on the fair side but she's even more pale due to spending much time indoors during the day. Bright blue eyes with catlike pupils and slightly longer and sharper canines are the giveaway that she's not human. She walks with grace and confidence, nearly hiding the fact that she was a slave for most of her life.

Animal Form: Black Jaguar - Covered head to toe in short black fur making it easier to blend into the night. Doesn't gain much mass weighing in around 130lbs, and about 4 ft in length. Her animal form gives her enhanced hearing and smell, along with better night vision than the average human. She can also "speak" to other large cats and some domestic with effort.

Character Concept

A loner by nature but not antisocial. She will speak if someone speaks to her first and on occasion will start conversation. Always cautious due to her past she will always be wondering what that person wants from her. It takes time to gain her trust but loyal and protective over the ones that do gain it. Aksana isn't afraid of much and will become aggressive if she feels threatened in some way. Because she always has to watch her back, she's often trying not to gain too much attention to herself.

Character History

Aksana wasn't born a slave. Her parents were simple merchants who often travelled to different cities selling and trading goods. They only stayed in one place long enough when Aksana's mother was about to give birth, going on their way again as soon as she was big enough. That wasn't long since they were surprised with a Kelvic baby girl and like all other Kelvics, her body grew much faster than the average human.

Unfortunately one day the small family wasn't so lucky and they had a run in with bandits. Her parents were both killed right in front of her but before they could kill her as well, one of them noticed her eyes and identified her as Kelvic. They decided she was worth more alive and took her to Sunberth so she could be sold into slavery.

The slavers had trouble with her but eventually she gave in, going along with whatever they wanted so she could continue living and eventually escape. She'd never give up. Her parents wouldn't have wanted her to, and she remembered the faces of the ones that murdered them. Not a day went by that she didn't think about finding them and getting revenge.

It wasn't long before a man purchased her who was a member of the Brotherhood of Chains. The Kelvic had food every day and shelter but she was treated poorly. While they were out she'd be left in a cage and while there were people around she was serving and cleaning up after them or being passed around for their pleasure. Kal was the only one who was decent to her. He kept to himself a lot, never amused with how the others treated her and occasionally would step in to stop them.

For two years she waited patiently for the perfect opportunity to make her escape. Tension started forming between the men. Over money, jobs, and whatever else they could fight about. One of the men was even killed during one of their arguments getting too heated. They started having problems with one of the new groups in Sunberth who called themselves The Vino. Aksana knew it was a matter of time before things really escalated.

One evening Kal took her to his room which he began doing only to speak in private. What she didn't know was that he was a spy for The Vino and knew of an attack they were planning ahead of time. The two made eye contact, and then he reached into his pocket.. pulling out a tiny key which she recognized immediately as the key to her collar. She didn't ask why he did it or how he got the key. In fact, no words were exchanged that night. Aksana waited and once the attacks started she knew it was her time to escape. Somehow she managed to get out while others were occupied fighting each other and the building was being burned to the ground. She didn't run far away from Sunberth like she had planned, instead she stayed right in the city. Where else would she even go? Revenge was on her mind. If the people who killed her parents were still in Sunberth she was going to find them, and if any of the men who held her captive were still alive she'd kill them too.
