Velenor Avenca Race: Symenestra Birthday: 33rd Night of the Season of Fall, 484 AV Gender: Male What was: Valendy Avenca was lonesome for most of his life, he was the leader of the Avenca web. The Avenca themselves did not particularly excell in anything, nor did they take any particular position of power within Kalinor. Time to sire came to be, and his loved one wanted their children to be pure, untainted. So Nusyna was against the surrogat mothers that were offered in order for her to survive; As the two lovers entwined, it was not long after that she found out she was pregnant. That knowing brought happiness to both of them, but it also brought a certain sorrow to soon to be widowed Valendy. He loved his wife, and in his own moribd way, he did want her to live, but not at the price of a child, first and last child of their relationship, or so he thought. Some time later in the future, you could imagine his surprise as they pulled out three little babies, three sons, out of the womb of his wife. Their seniority was decided upon the order they left the womb. The one considered the oldest was Valydor, the next to come in line was Venedan and he was then followed by last and seemingly the least, Velenor. The triple birth was taken as an omen of good will from the gods, and it brought some influence as well as respect to the web. As years passed, the web grew more and more prosperous, until it hit a certain point where things seemed to turn for the worse. Valendy came down and succumbed to an illness. The whole web seemed to fall apart without his organization skills until Valydor took his father place and led the web back to it's better days at a hurried pace. He had the charisma and leadership prowess the other two never seemed to exhibit. The one named second took up his responsibilities as a councelor and something of a priest to Viratas. That left Velenor alone for quite some time, and it left him wanting to follow in the footsteps of both his brothers. He however never had any real wish to get into the Ochya or high seats of the web, still he wanted something that would make him be respected as strong and dependable. He found both his cause and solitude fulfilled in a little shiny bundle called magic. No one really wanted anything to do with him after he anounced what he was going to do with his life; He was going to become a great sorcerer and have his name remembered as Velenor Avenca, and not as a simple brother of Valydor and Venedan, nor only a son of his late father, Valendy. Those things left Velenor hanging alone in a small room, with a bunch of books concerning all things magical. What he needed next was an opportunity to show what he was capable of, and some more training, so he can call himself a true wizard without ever having to doubt it. What is: RP history..... The glorious mind: Velenor's character is hardly a complex one; All he ever did was always fueled by some random surges of pride and the wish to surpass everyone else. He was always confident that what he was doing was right, and never really had much trouble dealing with the concequences of his actions. Still the time he spent alone from the beginning of his training forward, it made him more of an introspective loner, that has no trouble discussing things with himself out loud. What probably got him through the first couple of seasons of loneliness, was his hardheaded belief that everything can be done after enough errors have been made. He never speaks of his family, and considers both of his brothers simple obstacles that are yet to be surpassed. Most of his days are spent walking around with a book in his arm, 'cause for reasons unknown to him, he can not learn anything without moving while doing it. When he is not doing his studies, he can often be found wandering around the most solitary of places in order to escape facing crowds. What occupies him for the rest of his days are fantasies of once becoming so famous and powerfull that the whole of Mizahar will bow in his pressence. He is not insane however, yet, so he is focused on a „slightly“ minor campaign, to make the whole of Kalinor bow down and acknowledge his power. Likes: Quiet places, intelligent conversations, intelligent people being quiet, people with more power than him and generally anyone who can make him feel stupid, which is not always an easy thing to do. Dislikes: Noisy people, stupid people, noisy places, ignorant people, violence (non magical one), overly friendly people, people who get too personal all too quickly and overly most other people. Ethics: Even though he dwells in the unclear waters of magic, Velenor does have some moral codes that he follows without even the slightest of doubts. All major decissions in his life will first be measured for all their pros and cons and then be decided upon. He will never raise a hand against any of the Symenestra both stupid and brilliant alike, unless such actions are forced on him. And when any form of violence is to take place, he will only execute it against people he deems qualified. The not so glorious body: As tall as Symenestra come, his body is over grown and mostly useless. He is pale with ashy skin like the rest of his racial brethren, but his slight build is outlined with 6.5 feet worth of length and his weight revolving around 175 lbs. An usual trait for a Symenestra are his long arms that seem a bit too long, even for him. The only aspects of him that aren't turned into the colours of ash and dust alike are his pure black hair and claws, and his amethyst eyes. He is covered by a simple, completely black attire consisting of pants, a single shirt, black shoes and black hooded cloak. This all sums up to a robe like appearance which he was aiming for to begin with. And that is pretty much all there is to his appearance, he is thorn between grey and black with a single outstreak of color.
