Morvik Sutinal

Postby Morvik Sutinal on January 20th, 2011, 1:09 am

Name: Morvik Sutinal
DOB: 488AV (22 years old)
Physical Description:
Morvik was always a big person, in both height and stature. Standing 7’5” and 250 lbs, it is impossible for Morvik to pass as a human, even from a distance. He is also well-built, a testament to his upbringing as an Akalak warrior. He has dark blue skin, midlength black hair, a clean shaven face, and yellow eyes.
Character Concept:
Morvik is religious, honorable, proud, and not altogether very smart. Morvik is always someone that sticks up for the less fortunate, always ready to do his best for the sake of others. Sometimes he goes to great lengths to do what he believes his right, no matter what the consequences to himself. Most of the time. Sometimes, he isn’t quite so honorable. Morvik, like all Akalak, has a split personality. Although most can easily keep it under control, and the others are usually sent to Cerulean, Morvik is a special case. Morvik’s dark brother is very powerful and it is only because of Morvik’s intoxicatingly good personality that he isn’t always in control.
History:
Morvik was born in Riverfall to two good Akalak parents. He started his weapons training at a very early age, as all other Akalak’s do, and soon became quite competent in the ways of the warrior. He was good and brave and resourceful. This was a problem. Normally, Akalak gain their dark brother sometime near before they turned 15. The fact that he hadn’t gotten his yet worried his mother, though everyone else praised him. When he was fifteen, he participated in a Glassbeak hunt in which he, along with his fellow youths, successfully killed a powerful Glassbeak. It seemed obvious to everyone by then that Morvik must have already gotten his dark brother, but been able to instinctively control it completely. Of course it was impossible for a dark brother to appear at 15. Morvik’s brother didn’t appear until he was an appalling 28 years old. By this time, Felavik, as the dark brother called himself, was more powerful than any other Akalak personality. Felavik was the true opposite of Morvik, and not only was he quite devious, he was also very smart. He knew that if he showed his face too much, Morvik would soon be sent to Cerulean. So Felavik waited. After Morvik’s successful solo Zith hunt, in which he finally became a man, Felavik came back. Through subtle manipulation, Felavik had Morvik move out of Riverfall to seek adventure in Syliras, where Felavik would be free from the threat of Cerulean. Felavik let Morvik run free around Syliras, doing whatever he pleased. He usually contented himself with making sure that Morvik survived. Without any kind of job or any skill at hunting for his own food, Morvik would be long dead if it wasn’t for Felavik. It was Felavik that gathered the money to buy a small peiece of property from the Syliran knights, it was Felavik who killed six people (in separate occasions), to get money for food and drink. Felavik is still biding his time, keeping Morvik alive as he becomes stronger. Strong enough to accomplish Felavik’s aims.
