A Strange Visitor

3rd Day of Winter 521 A.V Today was supposed to be like any other day. Saga usually got up early enough to attempt to make a small breakfast. Afterwards he practiced his glyphing, being sure to take time to improve on his sigil making while he was employed at the Good Book. This particular glyph would be drawn painstakingly on his right hand. He was learning to be ambidextrous with all things including combat. But it was taking quite some time to do one of his palms. He would just shelve it for later at work. The incomplete sigil on his palm he would set out for work. Greeting those he walked by. The community had grown used to the Akontak walking by. His tall figure was always a sight to see, and he had begun to the enjoy everyone else as well. This would be a first winter in the Kalea region and Lhavit. He was picking up a lot culture and religion over here. Saga walked into the Good Book, greeted his employer as usual. Then it was back to the basics, he started to get right back into the thick of work. Starting off the day like he should. The air was starting to turn bitter. He wasn't expecting a whole lot of customers this time of the year. They received a lot of requests during the fall. Largely a busy, but a quiet time at that. However today was different.

Saga had spent a good amount of his time in the first half of his work, arguing with Vurik. He was more agitated than usual. He felt something was off, that they needed be more aware. He could not see what Vurik was hinting at. For the most part of their stay here in Lhavit, its been nothing sort of peaceful. With Morwen gone still it has been the talk every went season, but other than that they've had nothing to fear. I assure you. We need not worry here. You've never been this cautious before. Something's off Saga. You are to naïve to tell. If there is something that arises my suspicious I'd be inclined to agree. But there is nothing amiss. Saga waved him off and went about his daily routine. There was a close relation he was building within the community, he was the kind assistant helping out at the Good Book. So of course there would a rumor or two about where he worked at... The young Akontak was trying to contain the madness that was the mountain of books. He spent most of his days keeping up with Keper, he was brilliant but not very unorganized. Saga was almost so focused he almost didn't hear someone enter the store. His Knight training always keeping him aware of his surroundings though. Walking to the front, he would be the first person to greet the customer. Saga saw a man standing in the doorway. He was quite different from any man he had ever seen in these parts. He was tall, shorter than Saga of course, but he was in the 6 feet range. His wardrobe was very peculiar. A long black cloak obscuring most of the man, it seemed beaten with wear and tear. As he walked he could glimpse some leather armor and a sword on the mans hips. Saga's eyes narrowed seeing that. Not your everyday traveler. He thought but still greeted the man. "Welcome to the Good Book. What can I help you with?"
