New To The Drykas

Hello!

I'm extremely new to the site and am looking for someone to start with.

Though I have a completed character sheet here-

- I plan to make changes/improve on it as I progress in Mizahar. I would prefer to start in the Grasslands or Endrykas, but that is just a preference, not a necessity. If anyone is interested, feel free to respond to this post or shoot me a PM. Also, I am not in the least adverse to suggestions. Like I said, I'm new, and a bit overwhelmed at that.

Ahoy there my Drykas Sibling!
Eldon here, people call me Levi.
Anyway, I would first like to say your CS looks pretty good (I only briefly skimmed it), but you have 10 points into 'Riding' because you are a badass Drykas. That's our Racial Bonus. Just thought you'd like to know that.

Second, I'm sure you'll find all sorts of people to RP with in Endrykas, the Sea of Grass, and all that Jazz. We're all pretty damn cool there, one of the best places ever you know. Anyway, if you have any questions, feel free to ask and I'll answer or point you to someone that can.

Welcome to Mizahar,

The Drykas have a complex and fascinating society that I'm sure you will enjoy playing in. As Levi said you get a 10 point racial bonus to riding, every race gets a bonus to some skill. The Drykas naturally get riding because their entire life revolves around horses and things that relate with horses.

I did have a question about your age though. Having a PC (player character) that young can limit your ability to rp, as there are only so many things a 13 year old girl can do. This isn't to say that it's impossible to have a PC that young, I'm just curious as to how you want to pull it off.

Thanks to both of your responses!

In regards to the racial bonus, I will correct that immediately.

In regards to the age thing, I did have a question about that actually. How fast does time pass in this forum? Does an actual year equal a year? So many weeks? So many months? I made her as young as she is in case it turns out to be weeks or months to equal a year, that way she can actually have decent character progression. If the time moves rather slowly then I will adjust her age accordingly.

One year is one year. As of sometime today, Mizzahar enters the Spring Season
Mizahar is divided into four seasons (winter, spring, summer, fall, repeat) rather than months.
Each season has roughly 92 days, I can't remember which has 91.
So pretty much, your character will be what she is from the day you start, until March 1st 2012.
