Ashen Basic Information Race: Kelvic (Bengal Cat) Birthday & Age : 4 years, 507 AV Gender: Female Physical Description Human Form : Ashen has long, often wildly curly brown hair and slightly pasty skin. Her cat-like eyes never settle on one color, preferring to shift from blue-green to blue-gray to bright blue and back depending on her mood. Sharp feline teeth hide behind her pale pink lips. A long, jagged scar runs the length of her collarbone about an inch or two below it, slightly faded with time yet still clearly visible. Ashen's whole body is frail and appears as if the slightest breeze could carry her away. Feline Form : As a Bengal Cat, Ashen is about the size of a normal house cat and has a lithe body the color of tawny and covered in spots similar to a leopard's. She has vertical stripes in the middle of her forehead and thin lines running from the corners of her eyes. Her legs have black stripes on her legs and tail, scattered with tiny spots. Ashen's eyes are a pale green color and the bottom of her chin is white. Character Concept After a severely traumatic incident a few years ago, Ashen has written off emotions. She swore to herself to never let her feelings show and to never let anyone close to her heart again, making her very bad at interacting with other people. For the past three years, Ashen has been nothing but a numb shell. She doesn't feel anything. Or at least that's what she keeps telling herself. Grief follows her wherever she goes; always lurking in the back of her mind, trying to force it's way to the front. It's like a piece of her was ripped out when her parents were taken away from her so many years ago, leaving a gaping hole in it's place. Ashen learned how to keep her animalistic side under tight reign, though it still manages to rear it's head every once and a while when her emotions get particularly strong. Ashen is determined to seek revenge on the man behind all of this, the man who made her who she is today. But alll she knows about him is his face and his name: Deveron. She hasn't gotten very far along in her quest, but she isn't giving up. Being as driven and as stubborn as she is, nothing will stop her from succeeding. History Ashen was born to Ethan and Pinta Chambers in Syliras. When she was a little over the age of one, a group of burly men came to their house. They were led by a man called Deveron. For reasons the young Ashen didn't understand, they beat her father half to death and stabbed her mother right before her eyes. Pinta bled to death quickly. The men strapped the unconscious Ethan to the back of a horse and took off, leaving one man behind to kill her. She only just barely escaped alive. The man managed to slash her across the collarbone, but his blade wasn't sharp enough to be fatal. Ashen made it to her horse, Freedom, and rode away. But she only made it a few miles before she passed out from blood loss. Luckily, a man was passing by and spotted her before she died. He took her back to Syliras with him and had a healer patch her up. He then took her under her wing and helped her somewhat deal with her grief and train her to fight. But after a few months, Ashen wanted to go and get revenge. So she left her mentor in the dust and started on her mission to find the man who took her parents. But her search was unfruitful. After a year of finding nothing, Ashen found herself at Avanthal. She took to the place quickly and decided to gather herself and take a break from her travels. So she has been there for the past year or two, still hunting for new leads about Deveron.
