Kyrenia Basic Information Race: Vantha Birthday & Age : 16 day of Winter Season, 24 Gender: Female Physical Description Kyrenia has long brown hair, reaching just a few inches below her shoulders. Occasionally, her hair would show green highlights. Her hair is straight but becomes wavy near the bottom. She has naturally grey eyes that do change color as most of her people do. Kyrenia herself is 5'6". She weighs about 110 pounds and is very slender. Character Concept Personality - Kyrenia is often quiet, but depending on her mood, she will speak out loudly. Ethics - Kyrenia lives by a code of "peace before violence". She can easily ignore those in dire need of help, but she often chooses to help, even if it is none of her concern. Kyrenia has been taught ever since she was born to "embrace all living". Likes - Kyrenia likes to play with snow whenever possible. Otherwise, she likes to swim in lakes or ponds. She also likes to read any historical documents she gets her hands on. Dislikes - Kyrenia dislikes needless bloodshed and deaths the most. They usually affect her emotions, which in turn ends up controlling her actions. Character History Kyrenia was born in Avanthal. Both her parents were Vanthas. Kyrenia had 4 other siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Being the youngest, Kyrenia was treated slightly better than her 4 siblings. At the age of 4, her health declined rapidly. This worried both her mother's Hold and her father's Hold. The reason was unknown and the elders claim that they weren't able to receive an answer from Queen Morwen.Kyrenia was taken to the Whitevine Healing Center where she was fed multiple herbs as her family tried to keep her health from decreasing again. Kyrenia's health did stop decreasing, but it wasn't getting any better. Some of her family members had given up by then. Her oldest brother and oldest sister ran off a few days before Kyrenia's 7th birthday. Her sister came back a day before Kyrenia's birthday with a small flower in hand. Kyrenia wasn't sure what had happened. The herb in her sister's hand was a rare plant in Taldera. The elders from the Whitevine Hold mixed it into a herb and fed it to Kyrenia, hoping for the best. They never did figure out what Kyrenia had contracted, but they knew it wasn't good. Kyrenia's health increased slowly but steadily over the next few days. When she was healthy enough to think clearly, she was told her oldest brother who never came back was gone. She was told he was never coming home again. That he was with the stars. A funeral was held a few days later. Kyrenia didn't know what it meant to be with the stars. Every night, she'd ask her siblings where her oldest brother had gone. The only answer she received was "He's with the stars now." Kyrenia spent her free time bedridden with the elders, who told her of how the world started and everything that has happened in the world. Kyrenia was told of the far away lands that was different from Avanthal. At the age of 7, Kyrenia received a windrunner, which she named Liliac. It had cost her Hold 50gm. When she received it, Liliac was just 2 seasons old when Kyrenia received her. Kyrenia raised Liliac like a friend, and the two were always seen together. When she was 12, a male proposed to her. Kyrenia's parents rejected him, thinking it was too young for Kyrenia to get married. Kyrenia used this chance to run from home. She knew it would bring pain to her family and friends, but Kyrenia wanted to explore the world. She left a letter at her bedside for her family. It was an explanation of why she ran away, what she plans to do, and how she plans to achieve it.
