As Turiska banked, Shayth's body naturally flowed with the birds. They flew as one, connected in a bond so close the endal could tell when even the smallest feather moved, and why. If the rider were to sprout her own wings, it felt as though she would know how to fly without hesitation. The mechanics of flight were as readable to her as the old texts were to scholars. Spotting the grove Oleana pointed out, Shayth allowed Turiska to find her own ground. They circled around, lowering slowly with a flap of great wings and a whirlwind of breeze.
"And here we are." Shayth said with a smile, feeling much better now. The water had helped a lot and the ride lifted her mood. Slipping off the saddle, the endal patted the huge beak beside her. Turiska would wait for her, the eagle feeling a little less impatient after the ride. Waiting for Olena, the redhead looked around.
It was a nice area, secluded and quiet in the still of day. Her ears could pick up the unmistakable sound of rushing water though, and it sent a chill down the riders spine. She would stay away from the waters edge.
